Week 10: Lions (45) Bills (22) Lions Pounce on Bills In a game that would be defined by the turnover battle the Lions came out on top scoring on three defensive touchdowns on four turnovers by the Bills. The first half of the game was pretty close as the Lions were able to hold the Bills to 6 points and the Lions only managed to score 10 points. It was in the third quarter when the game was broken wide open by a Louis Delmas interception that was returned for a TD. On the following drive the Bills drove down to the red zone of the Lions, but Marshawn Lynch was hit in the backfield and fumbled the ball, which was picked up by Kelvin Hayden for a TD. On top of those two turnovers the nail in the coffin came when Trent Edwards was picked off from the 8 yard line of the Lions by Kelvin Hayden for his second TD of the day. Unfortunately for the Bills all three of these defensive TDs happened on three consecutive drives in the time span of 2-3 minutes. In the final quarter of play the Bills were able to put together two scoring drives on a TO slant and a Lee Evans slant to make the game 45-22, but it was too late as there was only 2 minutes left in the game. MVP: Kelvin Hayden: 2 tackles, 1 int, 1 FR, 2 Tds GG Bluebean, GL the rest of the season.
