Frisco's defense steps up once again after a few down weeks, forcing Carolina to complete only two FG's in three redzone attempts.

First quarter was all Niners, as the Panthers opened with the ball but were forced to punt, and SF scored on two straight possessions. The first points were put up on a 7yd TD catch by RB Gore, then on an 80yd run by rookie RB Woods. On 3rd and short, Carolina attempted a WR screen to Steve Smith, but he was hit immediately, dropping the ball, and rookie CB Duran took it in for 6. The second quarter saw two Panther FG's, which were answered by a WR Ginn return kickoff. 28-6 at the half.

The Niners started with the ball in the 3rd and drove down the field, which ended in another 30yd TD run by RB Woods. The rest of the game was spent punting by both sides, as SF stuck to the run and Carolina couldnt get any offense going. Final score 34-6 Niners, GG.
