#1 LSU loses in the rain in Double Overtime to Tennessee. Back up quarterback Jarrett Lee, who was filling in for injured starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson, who has been out for a month with an injury, was lost for 2 months with a broken ankle. Making matters worse, star running back, Terrance Gilmore was also lost for the game and the Tigers became very one-dimensional. After an interception in the 2nd overtime, Tennessee was able to kick the winning field goal to make the final score 35-32.

That's what makes it fun. We've got some work to do now. We'll see.

I'm glad the sliders are finally providing a challenge when they should. My game against K-State the Wildcats were beyond PESKY. I just could not get a knockout. Twice in that game a team responded to a big TD with a KO return for TD to answer right back. Was a great one. Score was a little high for my defensive mentality though.

Ohio State builds a 28-6 before putting it in cruise control in the second, winning 35-13 over Minnesota. Quarterback Joe Bauserman has another solid outing, throwing for four touchdowns. The seventh ranked Buckeyes are now 7-2 and 5-0 in the Big Ten.

Michigan Takes Home the Trophy 41-28!

    Ann Arbor,Mich

Unranked Michigan took home the Paul B Trophy by outlasting the spartans of Mich St 41-28. Things did not start out well for the home team, by the time the capacity crowd had time to settle in their seats MSU struck for 2 t.d's to go up 14-0. then Michigan responded when the spartans called an all-out blitz to stuff the run forcier calmly called an audible and hit his TE for a 64 pass t.d. to cut it to 14-7. then the def stepped up to stuff the spartan's next drive. then using the clock wisely HB smith of Mich scored the tying t.d. to knot it at 14-14. then getting another 3&Out, Michigan drove it down the field to get a FG for a 17-14 lead at H.T.

Michigan took the ball 2nd H and did nothing with that drive, then the def forced another 3&Out. Michigan drove it down chewing up serious time off that clock and scored the T.D. with the FB to make it 24-14. The Spartans then got it in gear to drive the ball down with a good mixture of running and passing to score with 0:33 sec's left in the 3rd to make it 24-20. The MSU kicker missed the xtra point. Then the 4th Began and Michigan started with another Monster drive chewing up time and drove it down to the spartans 11. Smith then topped it off with a T.D. on a sweep play and Michigan extended the lead to 31-20. Then MSU using the pass all drive got in the end zone to get it to 31-26. MSU got the 2-pnt conver. 31-28 with 1:36 left in the gm. MSU tried the "Most exciting play in football" and could not recover the onside kick. Then Michigan ran the ball forcing MSU to use their TO. Then Mich kicked a FG to make it 34-28. Then after the KO, MSU tried to pass and the QB was INT'd and it was returned for a T.D. to cap the Scoring at 41-28.

Coach Grad had No Words for the Media after the gm, cause he lost his voice after screaming at his Def the whole gm to make a play. His Asst.had this to say. "Coach is very happy with the win and is already thinking about next week's Gm".

Michigan is 4-4 on the yr and 3-2 in Conf play.
