Week 10 Miss St. vs Alabama

Wow! Alabama came into the game as the #118 ranked team in TO diff. with -18. They actually played a TO free game while getting two INTs. That brings us all the way to -16 on the year!
The 2nd string played almost the entire 2nd half after the starters built a 42-17 lead at halftime. McElroy threw 4 TDs to lead the way. Big game against LSU next week on the road. "Whoever wins the TO battle will likely be the winner in Baton Rouge next week. Hopefully we can remain TO free next week."

    UNC tops Clemson 34-10

The Tar Heels hard hitting defense forced 4 turnovers against Clemson

In this game one team lived up to what it does best while the other lived up to what it does worst. UNC's defense (which has given up the fewest points in the ACC) was dominant all game against one of the highest scoring, most powerful offenses in the country. Clemson, who is last in the NCAA in turnover differential, had trouble holding onto the ball as they threw 1 pick and fumbled the ball 3 times. UNC's stellar defense was hitting hard all day and made things as difficult as they could for the Tigers. They sacked Korn 5 times, forced 3 fumbles, intercepted 1 pass, and held the tigers to -14 yards rushing on 20 attempts and 152 yards of total offense.

Player of the game, SR CB Kendric Burney played absolutely out of his mind tonight. He was throwing his little 5'9 180 pound body all over the place. He ended the game with a team leading 7 tackles, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 TD. If he's not the national defensive PotW this week, then I can't wait to see the stats of the guy that beat him out.

The Heels must now wait for the result of the Miami - Virginia Tech game to see if they can have a shot at playing in the ACC conference championship game.

What a game it was in the Marble city between the UT VOLS & the OLE MISS REBS. The two teams lit up the score board for 95pts... Coach Cup says our D continues to struggle & once again a special teams play costs the Rebs a chance for victory... With only 1:15 remaining in the game the Rebs get the ball back after a go ahead score by UT tailback Bryce Brown, backup Rebel QB Stanley who was filling in for injured Jeavan Snead who is out with a broken jaw, led the Rebs down for the game tying TD with 15sec to play & only a extra pt to send the game to OT, but the Vols defense came away with the Appalachian St vs Michigan BLOCKED EXTRA PT to send the Rebs home wondering what may have been & their 2nd loss of the season by a total of 3pts..........

Wow! In the scores and scores of NCAA '10 games I've played, I still haven't seen a blocked punt or kick.

Was this against Horns, or was UT CPU controlled?

And why the hell do you have to be bringing up Appy St?!?

The Gators bounce back in week 10 knocking off Vandy on the road. Final score UF 56 Vandy 7.

The Gators came out with a chip on their shoulder in this one looking to take out their aggressions from last weeks OT loss. QB John Brantley and WR TJ Lawerence had huge days. Brantley was 17/25 for 260 yds with 5 TDs. WR TJ Lawerence caught 5 balls for 98 yds and 4 TDs.

The gators also had a 100 yd rusher finally. Chris Rainey filling in for the injured Jeff Demps racked up 109 yds on 24 carries and 2 TDs.

The defense also played lights out, led by FS Will Hill's 8 tackles, 2 for loss, they only allowed 213 yds of total offense for Vandy and holding them to 18% conversion rate on 3rd downs.
