So 19 seniors and only 1 commit. It's not like I need 4 DT's or anything crazy. Wait...what???

Any recruiting rules I need to know about? I saw a thread about JUCO's being off limits. Anything else?

Don't oversign, which prolly isn't gonna be a problem for you, lol. No jucos. And you're not allowed to recruit any player with a Georgetown offer. That's it. Good luck.

I've got 16 and two so don't feel bad. I told DC what we should allow JUCO's for new guys for the season they join and the following year. What say everyone? Kind of like a coach bringing in "his" guys.

Yea also no oversigning and we cut all transfers.

Obviously it could be a case by case thing once we get further along but could be an interesting wrinkle. Obviously we are recruiting coaches from Duke, Georgia Tech, Stanford etc so those kids would meet the criteria.

    #22 Yale Bulldogs 28

It took DirtycashDylan and I a game and a half to complete this one as my internet dropped with the score tied 7-7 late in the 2nd quarter. Both games were played in the snow but we really didn't see anything to crazy happen other than a few receivers hit the decks. He took a lead into the 2nd quarter as he answered a TD to tie it up at 7 with a 104 yard KR TD with speedy freshmen WR Jonathan McIntyre.

I fought back in the 2nd quarter to take a 17-14 lead into the half as backup freshmen RB Corbin Booker caught a 33 yard TD pass from John Running Water to add to his rushing TD in the first quarter.

The third quarter was pretty quiet as dylan had the only score on a 13 yard pass to take a 21-17 lead going into the fourth.

I quickly opened up scoring at 6:44 in the fourth as Corbin Booker scored his 3rd TD on a 4 yard TD run to put me back in front 24-21. DC pulled off a very nice play on either first or second down of the next drive when I came out in cover 3 and he had the outside WR run a deep post and the inside WR run a wheel. He pumped fake towards the post and both corner and safety bit leaving Freshman WR Jonathan McIntyre wide open down the sideline for a 76 yard TD score. I quickly answered though when DC got overly aggressive with the safety on a blitz play and went for the pick on a quick dump to the RB and Booker was able to take it 60 yards for his 4th TD of the day with 5:28 left to play. Yale would mount a long drive moving the mall down the field slowly picking up yards but with no hurry. They drove all the way down to the goal line but QB Matt Poland took a sack on 2nd down leaving them with 3rd and goal at the 18. Poland dropped back to pass but saw no one open and preceded to scramble up the middle. He picked up about 15 of the needed 18 but was hit by LB B. Hopkins who dislodged the ball and it was quickly scooped up by LB B. Tomlinson who looked like he might have a shot at taking it all the way but was ran down around the 30 yard line. DC did have all 3 TO's remaining and with 1:19 on the clock had a shot at forcing the 3 and out and getting the ball back with a minute to play. On first down Booker ran for 4 yards, on 2nd down Running Water threw a quick flat route to TE Clemons for a 3 yard gain setting up a crucial 3rd and 3 and leaving DC with one TO. I spread the field with a 4 WR set, Yale came out with only 5 in the box and I audibled to a inside hand off. The blitz came up the middle but Booker was able to kick it outside and run for 10+ sealing the game.

Was an awesome game and I don't know if they've done a tuner update or what but my last 3 games against TheCrumbIsHere JQwon13 & DirtycashDylan have all been significantly more fun and not near as much random crap controlling the outcome.

Some key stats from the game.
QB John Running Water 25/32 395 yards 2 TD 1 INT 6 Sacks
RB Corbin Booker 5 for 32 and 2 scores on the ground. 7 REC 138 yards 2 TD.
WR Brad Dougherty 7 REC 64 Yards
WR Reggie Herring 5 Rec 83 Yards
LB Brad Hopkins 4 Tackles 2 Sacks 1 FF

    QB M. Poland 12/17 196 3 TD 1 INT
    RB N. Lacey 13 Rushes 86 Yards
    WR J. McIntyre 4 100 Yards 2 TD

Got my internet up and running again, surprised it started working only minutes after the technician left, usually takes hours.

So with recchem moving to The Unnamed Quitter's team, who did aarondramp take over? Am I playing CPU Howard or are you trying to find someone to fill that spot?
