    Cornell 28 - Dartmouth 21

Add another victim to the list of players whom I never had a prayer against in the prior two iterations. The Cornell Big Red defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 28-21 at Dartmouth. This game was nearly thrown away after my star FB decides to fumble the ball at the end of the game with 1:10 left when I should have just kneeled down. Thankfully the football gods rewarded my team and ultimately rewarded my defense with their fourth interception in the end zone to seal it. This game was an excellent one though from start to finish.

The opening TD of the contest was scored on a perfect read from Marcus Ramsour getting in the way of a screen pass that he took back for a TD to make the score 7-0. Dartmouth and Cornell would then trade impressive drives in the first half to push the score to 14-7 Cornell at halftime. After a pair of defensive stops, Dartmouth would go on an impressive drive that amounted in 7 first downs and a TD to tie the game. Then in traditional Crumb fashion, Ramsour would fumble the ensuing kickoff and Dartmouth would score again to make it 21-14. Admittedly, I was thinking "here we go again." However, the Big Red would respond and Heinz would get free on a slant pattern for a 61 yard TD to tie the game up. Then the defense which played phenomenal the entire game pushed Dartmouth back on their ensuing possession all the way back to their 5 yard line. Cornell would get the ball back and would score to make it 28-21. Dartmouth then went into desperation mode and my secondary showed some life intercepting a total of 4 passes in the contest.

Both defenses though played pretty good overall. In the contest Cornell had 185 yards overall, Dartmouth had 188 yards. This was an even game that was decided by a couple of turnovers and on this rare evening Cornell came out on top. Rogers went 4/12 passing for 101 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT while running for 77 yards and 1 TD on 18 carries.

Cornell pushes their record on the season to 5-4(3-3 in the Ivy League) returning home for senior night against Qwiggly and Howard. It is an opportunity for the Big Red to gain their first .500 season in the Triple Option.

Well, for the first time ever, the CPU has mass subbed in my backups in the first half.

Dean Evans and I got disconnected after he caught some bad breaks and I was up 21-0. We basically played the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter has been all Yale, too. HB Ross busted a 39 yard TD and on the very next Yale offensive series and play, he caught a pass in the flats, made a guy miss and took it 75 yards for another score.

My backups were able to score with :34 left in the half and we have hung 'a half a hundred on em by halftime'. Coach Switzer would be proud.

    Yale-56
    Princeton-0 at half

Sorry DadRhino aka Old Man. This one is getting away from your team. I'll run clock the entire 2nd half.

    Brown Bears 24
    Georgetown Hoyas 20

The Qwon and I played this one close as usual. I jumped out to a 17-10 halftime lead with a 82 yard pick six being the biggest play in the first half and gave me the edge. In the 2nd half Qwon came out and scored a TD in the 3rd and a FG early in the 4th. I came down and answered punching it in from 1 yard out with 4:25 to play. I forced Qwon to go 3 and out and was able to run all but :02 seconds off the clock. His hail mary was about 20 yards short of the end zone and intercepted.

Penn Wins...as expected is the headlines for Howard U student paper. 35 -10 loss takes the Bison to 2 - 7 on the year. The defense proved porous and the offense was unable to sustain many drives leading to a significant difference in total yards, Penn 400+ Howard barely 100+

Only positive offensively is only 2 sacks and 1 turnover for the Bison. Defensively we had 1 INT and 1 sack which didnt really phase the visiting team.

"We are trying, I mean, we really are!!!" said coach q
