The Turning Point: The last Bronco loss occurred 42 games ago to these same Hurricanes. A lot of seniors were only freshman that season and could simply watch from the sideline and look on helplessly. They clearly remembered the pain they felt that day.

    Keys To The Game: Vengeance.

Looking Ahead: The C-USA Championship game against #7 Western Kentucky.

    Arky St - 21
    UAB - 17

Funny how the only games I have to score 50+ to win are against Snoop, Nik, and Qwon.

Arky State gets a big day from QB Dennis Johnson (15/22, 236 yds, 3TD 0INT) and forces 2 interceptions of their own to get the close victory. Neither team could score on their opening possession, but UAB got rolling first, jumping out to a 17-7 lead late in the 2nd quarter behind their running game. But from that point on they would get shut out, and a touchdown with :12 left in the half gave the Red Wolves some momentum. After taking a 21-17 lead midway through the 4th quarter, the defense came up with an INT in the red zone, right when it looked like UAB was gonna take the lead. Instead, the offense came out and sealed the deal, running the ball until the clock ran out, with UAB unable to get the ball back. This sets up a chance for Arkansas State to clinch the West with a win over Utah State next week, and a loss by ULM.

GG Jkyle, guess I get to go out undefeated against UAB (recchem never beat me to my memory)

Not sure what you're talking about...I consider myself a defensive team...And in our last two meetings, you have a combined 14 pts.

Billy McClain Leads Utah State To Senior Day Victory Over EMU, 31-19
    Aggies Win 5th Straight

Senior HB Billy McClain did it all in his home finale. McClain ran for 182 yards on 16 carries for 2 TDs, and a 25 yard TD reception to seal the game late. EMU was held to field goals for first half, as USU capitalized on McClain TD runs of 21 and 77 yards to go into half with a 21-9 lead. The two teams matched field goals in the third, making the score 24-12 into the final quarter. With 3:33 to go in the game, EMU got their first touchdown, cutting the score to 24-19. Billy McClain put the team on his back for the final minutes, carrying 6 times for 48 yards on the final drive. With 1:30 to go and EMU out of timeouts, the Aggie offense went for the kill, catching EMU off guard with a play action pass to Billy McClain who broke a tackle and dove into the end zone to wrap up the game.
Freshman QB Tyrone Coleman continued to improve under the new offensive gameplan, completing 9 of 11 passes for 185 yards and 2 TDs. 6'5'' WR Courtney Davis found mis-matches in the D, catching 5 passes for 123 yards.

Utah State improves to 8-3 on the season and heads into their final regular season game at Arkansas State. The Aggies have a chance to play the spoiler role, as an ASU win will clinch the West. If USU defeats the Red Wolves, we could be in for a clusterfuck tiebreaker between 3 loss teams.

I'm saying that unless I score a shit ton of points against you 3, I ain't winning. Has nothing to do with defensive styles, all about offense nikka
