The Bills got a much needed win and created a three-way tie on top of the AFC East with the Dolphins and Patriots by beating the Titans, 33-27, in week 11. All three East teams sit at 7-3 with six games left in the regular season.

The Bills won this one by shutting down CJ2K, the OMFL's leading rusher being held to just 37 yards on 16 carries and didn't make it into the endzone at all. On the other hand, fill-in Marshawn Lynch ran for 129 yards on 25 carries to help the Bills control the clock and tire the Tennessee defense. The other big story of the game was the fumbles, the teams combining to drop the ball 7 times, 5 of which were turnovers with 2 being returned for TD's. Rookie QB Tyler Dougherty was solid for the Bills, completing 10/20 passes for 156 yards and 2 TD's without an interception.

The Bills would score first, DE Alex Carrington returning a Vince Young fumble 30 yards for the 7-0 lead. The Titans would control the rest of the first half, going up 24-10 at one point, before a late TD to WR Steve Johnson gave the Bills hope, cutting the halftime score to 24-17. The Bills tied the game on a pick six by CB Brandon Carr early in the third quarter, and after Tennessee reponded with a field goal to go back in front, TE Derek Schouman finally got the winning score on a 5 yard pass with 3:28 remaining. The defense did the rest for Buffalo, even getting a late safety that hasn't been counted officially, but happened and resulted in a safety punt, leading to the final score of 33-27. (or 31-27 as the game is calling it).

Game MVP was Marshawn Lynch, doing a fantastic job filling in for the injured CJ Spiller. GG Ox.
