WEEK 11 GAME OF THE WEEK lilaaddzz at Cole Copeland This is an interconference matchup between two teams who presently control their own playoff destinies. The Raiders currently trail YungLew15 's division leading Kansas City Chiefs by three games in the AFC West, yet are tied for the first wilcard spot with coachgaddy 's New England Patriots. The Saints, meanwhile, are currently tied with Crumbler81 's Carolina Panthers for first place in the NFC South.Last WeekOakland struggled last week at home against the Baltimore Ravens, losing 34-20. Baltimore posted 189 rushing yards against the Raiders while holding Oakland to only 84 yards on the ground. That proved to be the difference in a game most thought Oakland would win.The Saints were able to steal a win in Atlanta against the Falcons 34-17. Statistically New Orleans and Atlanta were very even in the game, however, the Saints managed to get a few big plays at opportune times to secure the victory and remain tied with the Panthers atop their division.Keys to the GameThe Raiders' defense has allowed at least 400 yards in each of the past five games. Last week marked a season high and signals an alarming trend for the team as they look to position themselves for the playoffs. Oakland will need to shore up their defensive deficiencies to not only win the game versus New Orleans but also to make any noise come January. The Saints' offense has been enigmatic all year. They will put up huge numbers one week followed by dismal numbers the following week. Recently, they posted a season low 169 yards of offense in Week 9 before rebounding with their third highest season total of 387 last week. Not only are the Saints trying to position themselves for the playoff but they are also trying to win their division. Finding consistency will be critical for them as they head into the final stretch of the season. What to WatchTurnovers - Oakland has forced at least three turnovers five times this season while the Saints have only done so twice. It seems cliche, but it is a common them in the NFL. The team who wins the turnover battle will generally win the game. This game should be no different.LineRaiders -3 O/U 51PredictionThe Raiders have one of the best offenses in the NFL led by standout running back Darren McFadden. They also have an opportunistic defense that can create turnovers. While this game should remain close and be competitive, the Raiders offense will prove to be too much and Oakland will leave New Orleans with a 27-24 win.Content of the Week OzcarL New York Jets Oscar is new to the league but has jumped right in and took to creating a great Team Management page for his Jets. You can stop by and "like" all of the great things he is doing here. Sim Stats of the Week For some reason the Game Recaps on the Madden Career website aren't allowing me to see players stats from last week so I cannot do the Sim Stats of the Week. However, they will return next week so let's have some great sim games this week for me to highlight!
