FSU defeats Miami 14-7 in snoozefest

It was a game even the fans of both teams couldn't enjoy as both teams showed great displays of offensive ineptitude in this defensive battle. After a having a string of decent perfomances since the week 3 loss to Oklahoma FSU QB EJ Manuel had a game for the record books going 1/10 for 7 yards and an interception. Manuel's performance was a combination of inaccurate passing, receivers not being able to get free from good Hurricane coverage and horrible blocking from the offensive line. Thankfully for the Seminoles running back Chris Thompson put the offense on his back with 2 huge scoring runs. Thompson took an inside handoff on FSU's first play from scrimmage 80 yards for the touchdown. In the 3rd quarter Thompson scored once again on a long run when he scampered outside and took it to the house for a 66 yard TD run. The Seminole defense played great for the majority of the game harassing Miami QB Jacory Harris sacking him 3 times and forcing 2 interceptions.

For Miami this is a tough loss as the Hurricane defense was absolutely dominating outside of Thompson's 2 runs. The Hurricanes were lead by DE Adewale Ojomo who recorded 2 of Miami's 3 sacks on the day. For 3 and a half quarters Jacory Harris seemed to be stuck in the same rut as Manuel as he missed receivers and threw 2 picks. Midway through the 4th a light seemed to turn on for Harris and he became unstoppable as he lead the Hurricanes down the field. On third and goal Harris found WR Laron Byrd for the touchdown to make the score 14-7.

With 2:04 remaining and all 3 timeouts left Miami decided to kick the ball back to the Seminoles. On the 1st and 2nd down FSU gave the ball to Thompson who managed to gain 8 yards with Miami using 2 timeouts to stop the clock setting up a huge 3rd and 2 to decide the game. Instead of handing the ball off to Thompson once again FSU gave the ball to FB Lonnie Pryor who found a hole and gained 8 yards to seal the win for the Seminoles.

The Player of the game was undeniably Chris Thompson who rushed for 196 yards on 19 carries with 2 touchdowns. The win also clinched a spot in the ACC title game for the Seminoles.

GG mcyork. Hopefully our next game is a lot better offensively.

OMG K state wins in Ot when NCAA was trying to cheat me.

KSU wins in OT as A&M was up huge in the first half. There were more blown coverages then a whore house and KSU wins it with our Back up QB. This game had 5 touchdowns in the final 1:50 of the game if you can believe that.

This game would start out good for KSu they would stop A&m and drive right down and go up 7-0, However on the play they would lose their starting QB Klein. From there bunch of bs and my back up qb would lead us to the win

Texas survives a shootout with Mizzou as they pull away late thanks to a 99 Kick Return TD by Marquise Goodwin who showed why he is one of the most dangerous return men in the country and brought his KR TD total to 3 on the season. Case McCoy proved his worth going 16-38 for 286 Yards 1 TD, 1 INT as well as 113 yards on the ground.

This sets up a big match up against K State next week

    Winning on the Road!

Florida travels to Columbia to knock off rival South Carolina 38-14!

The Gators went into this game looking to solidify their trip to the SEC championship game against either Auburn or the Crimson Tide and walked away victorious. Jacoby Brissett had another solid outing as he would put up 272 yards and 3 tds, while FR phenom Mack Brown proved today why he is the future of this well balanced Gators offense going for 23 carries for 137 yards and 2 tds. SCar's offense was strong, and put up the most amount of yards on the #1 ranked Gators defense out of any team this season. But the Gators defense was able to bend but not break, holding the Gamecocks to only 14 points.

The Gators play of the game came on a last second play where QB Brissett would run a WR option and pitch it out to WR Andre Debose for a 62 yard scamper to the endzone as time expired(the play actually registered as a pass).

But Player of the Game Honors would go to RB Mack Brown for his performance.

Daymond Patterson added another score on a punt return to let Kansas cruise to a victory.
