#1 Wannabe Bulldogs Get Dominated
This week the Georgia Bulldogs whooped the Miss State Bulldogs and showed them why they are the wannabe Bulldogs. Michael Ford put on another great performance rushing for 138 yards on 28 carrries and scored 3 touchdowns. Aaron Murray got a little more involved this week throwing for 162 yards on 12 attempts and completing 8 of those 12, Murray also had 2 touchdowns in the big win against Miss State. On the defensive side of the ball Dwayne Brown dominated recording 4 total tackles and forcing one fumble. Next week the Dawgs take on Auburn in the annual rivalry and hope to keep the win streak alive.

Florida State only threw for 154 yards as the running game and defense set the tempo. Speaking of the defense they were masterful once again as they held Boston College to -8 yards rushing and BC QB Chase Rettig threw for only 91 yards with an interception. FSU Key PlayerRB James Wilder 19 Carries 186 Yards 2 TD; 1 Reception 6 Yards 1 TD
Coach Art Vandalay won his TCU debut with a 52-31 victory over Big 12 rival BYU. Coach Vandalay's arrival marks a change in both offensive and defensive philosophies for TCU, and the first half reflected that. The Horned Frogs started slowly, but were able to pull ahead right before halftime with a successful touchdown drive capped by a 14-yard pass from Casey Pachall to Corey Moore to take a 7 point lead. Pachall looked at ease in the second half, finishing with a whopping 478 yards and 6 touchdowns. Meanwhile, the receiver most comfortable with the changes was clearly George Anderson; entering today's game, he had not caught a single pass, but against the Cougars, he harnessed 10 receptions for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns - a single game record for the Frogs.
Coach Vandalay after the game: "The offense looked about as good as we could expect with abbreviated practice time. Casey Pachall has handled the adjustments like a champ and my only disappointment with him is that he's a senior, so I won't have him next year. As we get our timing down and complete our transition, fans can look forward to seeing a fast-paced offense and every week, there will be a different hero. Today, George Anderson got into the action and was snatching the ball, but everyone gets their chance in this offense.
"The defense will take a little more time adjusting. Changing from running the 3-3-5 to our multiple sets requires extensive study and different personnel. But things looked o.k. today and they will only get better. The bottom line is that we won and are only one win away from getting our seniors into a bowl game."
The Horned Frogs return home to play Oklahoma State next weekend. Come on out and see the show!
Texas A&M 26
#3 Oklahoma 41
Oklahoma was able to jump out to a 24-7 halftime lead and never looked back. Texas A&M was able to pull to within 8 points late in the fourth quarter, but an 82 yard TD run from Brandon Williams sealed the win. Once again, Williams was key in a Sooner victory, as he rushed for 225 yards and 3 TD on 24 carries. Oklahoma looks to extend their winning streak to 9 games next week as they take on #15 Notre Dame in South Bend.
Miami takes care of business against Georgia Tech and Ryan Williams continues his winning ways with 5 TD passes on the day, The defense held steady against GT until the 4th quarter, they were expecting an option attack but GT didnt really use it that much, they did run a ton of reverse plays though. A great momentum building performance as the big match up with Florida State comes up next week.
