Jaguars Survive Ferocious Cleveland Comeback And Win On The Road Jacksonville traveled to Cleveland to face the 4-5 Browns. The Browns have fallen apart after a great 3-0 start the season but are just 1-5 since then. The Jags were looking to keep them down there and it looked like they were going to be able to 3/4 through the game. The play on the field wasn't too close but it was a tight game in the 1st half. Jacksonville was clearly the better team and were able to run at will against the defense. Maurice Jones-Drew was in his 2nd game back from injury(200+ yards vs Indianapolis) and was at it again. He carried the Jags and scored 2 TDs in the 1st half. However, the Browns had 2 big plays - a 45 yard TD pass and an INT return for a TD - to make it a tie game at halftime. Jacksonville put it together in the 3rd quarter though and dominated the Browns to put on 17 straight points. The Browns weren't done and let the Jags know that quickly. With just 1 second left in the 3rd quarter, Colt McCoy hit Antwann Randle El for an 80 yard TD pass to make it 31-21 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Browns were able to get the ball back quickly from the Jags and got another TD to make it 31-28 with 5:26 remaining. The Jags knew what to do though and that was give MJD the rock. He was able to carry the Jags down the field and get his 4th TD of the game while eating up the clock to make it 38-28. The Browns kept at it and got another TD but it was too little, too late and the Jags got the 38-35 victory. Player of the Game: Maurice Jones-Drew - He got his 2nd straight 200+ yard game. This time he went for 229 yards and 4 TDs.
