    Week 11: Seahawks (27) Vikings (24)

The Seahawks came to the Metrodome today ready to make a statement that they were real contenders in the NFC, they didn't disappoint. The Vikings won the coin toss and choose to kick off to the Seahawks. From the very first play for the Seahawks Hasselbeck playactions it to Brandon Marshall for a 75 yard TD making the score 7-0 within the first 16 seconds of the game.

Marshall once again shows that hes Hasselbecks favorite target reeling in 5 receptions for 255 yards and a TD.

The Vikings looked a little shook up on their first drive as it resulted in a punt back to the Seahawks. Once again Matt Hasselbeck lead Seattle down the field in a drive that resulted in a field goal making the score 10-0. The Seahawks applied the pressure and the Vikings responded with a 8+ play drive resulting in a Lorenzo Neal Touchdown on fourth and 1 at the goal line. On the following drive by the Seahawks scored another Touchdown on an Edgerrin James score from 2 yards out.

Hasselbeck has his best game of the season breaking the 300 mark for the first time this season.

As the half wound down the Vikings ran their two minute drill and knocked in a field goal before the half making the score 17-10. The second half was the Adrian Peterson show as he scored two touchdowns to bring the Vikings back into the game. With the score at 24-24 with 2 minutes remaing it was up to Matt Hasselbeck to drive the Seahawks down the field for the win. He once again showed great leadership and composure as he hit Brandon Marshall for a huge 45 yard screen that took the Seahawks to the 20 yard line. The clock ran down to 38 seconds left after the Olindo Mare hit the field goal giving Seattle a slim lead at 27-24.

AP getting it done all day, but it just wasn't enough as the Vikings trailed the whole game.

On the last drive for the Vikings a failed screen to Adrian Peterson pretty much wrapped the game up as they had no time outs left. The game ended on a sack on Mario Haggan sack to give the Seahawks one of the biggest upsets of the season.

Favre had a hard time finding receivers deep but drops and pressure eventually got the best of him.

All undefeated teams are gone. Sounds like a good game right down to the wire but those Vikings will bounce back. NFC gotta watch out for those Hawks now.
