    Week 11 Summaries

The Central Michigan Chippewas may be out of the MAC title game hunt but they are hoping to get decent bowl bid improving to a 7-2 record. Both of Central Michigan's losses this season were under 6 points and they are hoping to turn things around next season. Coach Frisk stated " I mean I am very proud of our boys, they are this close to becoming a legitimate force on a wide scale in college football. We have a few games left this season that we need to win. We play ACC powerhouse Miami and that will be our biggest challenge thus far in the season."

The Chippewas were led once again by their star QB Derek Rifenbury, who for the 5th game in a row threw for more than 300 yards, and special teams spark plug Antonio Brown. " Derek has put up some incredible numbers. He is proving to the nation that he is the real deal, " said Coach Frisk. "What can I say about Mr. Brown, he is amazing. I now he will play at the next level. Every week we know he is going to do something to change the outcome of the game, now thats a playmaker!"

In order for Central Michigan to have a chance to sneak in the MAC title game Northern Illinois will have to lose two of their last 3 conference games. The Chippewas will keep their fingers crossed but will have to perform for the remainder of the year.
