QB Diondre Borel was 21 of 41 for 394 yards with 3 TD's in the Victory.

    UTAH STATE: 37

This game was crazy as San Jose's passing game was pretty tough to stop. With USU starting RB on the DL, it was hard to muster up the running game. Fortunately for me, Diondre Borel played pretty well. The Aggies improve to 4-5 and with 3 games remaining can finish above .500.

    Nevada 38
    Fresno St 29

Nevada headed into Fresno to take on the Bulldogs this week. Both teams displayed their high octane offenses as Nevada was able to edge out Fresno St by a final of 38-29.

Fresno St started the scoring in the first quarter when Ryan Colburn hit Devon Wylie for a 90 yard touchdown. A Vai Taua 53 yard touchdown run later in the first evened the score at 7. Kevin Goessling gave Fresno St a brief 3 point lead in the second on a 31 yard field goal. Then Vai Taua ripped off scoring runs of 75 and 3 yards to put Nevada up by 11. Desia Dunn picked off a Colin Kaepernick pass late in the quarter and took it back 85 yards for a score and Goessling hit a 19 yard field goal to draw Fresno St back within 1 at 21-20 at half.

Lampford Mark scored on a 12 yard run in the third, putting the Wolfpack back up by 8. Another Goessling 19 yard field goal left the score 28-23 heading into the fourth. Brad Langley hit a 32 yard field goal to stretch the lead back to 8 for the Pack. Deandre Boughton ended the hopes of the Bulldogs when he intercepted a Colburn pass and returned it 44 yards for a score. Colburn would hit Jamel Hamler on a 7 yard strike late to make the final Nevada 38, Fresno St 29.

Kaepernick was 7 for 14 for 110 yards and an interception. Taua had 214 yards on 25 carries and 3 scores. Nevada improves its mark to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in the WAC with the win. They take on New Mexico St next week.
