Do them dammit!
AP Drops A Deuce On LionsMinnesota beats Detroit, 34-21.
Minnesota gets revenge for the loss in Detroit. A win that moves us to 8-2 on the year and 2 games within clinching the division, 34-21.
Adrian Peterson went off for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns today showing why many say he is the best running back in the National Football League. When needed, our offense was unstoppable because of the 1-2 punch in Peterson and Gerhart. On defense, Prince Justice got his 5th pick of the year but gave up a touchdown on a long bomb and one in the end zone. Of course to Calvin Johnson as he is targeted more times than an American in Aruba. The Vikings prepare for the guy who said, "your doing good for having such a shitty roster". It's your ass now!
BROWNS KEEP PACE WITH BENGALS, DEFEAT TEXANS 35-13
HOUSTON, TX -- The Browns continued their winning ways with an easy 35-13 victory over the Texans. Without coach Bobby on the sidelines, the Texans appear to be a team without direction.
The Browns lead by their much improved defense forced 5 turnovers and sacked Schaub 7 times. On Offense, rookie Cody Hoppes caught 7 balls for 93 yards and a touchdown. The only negative was the running game. Noel Devine and Monterio Hardesty had trouble getting it going all game.
In other news, the Browns may be fed up with the antics of Peyton Hillis. (trying to mirror real life...) Rumor has it that New Orleans may be a possible destination in the offseason. DerekC
Play of the Game - Screen gone bad
Matt Ryan throws 4 Interceptions, Falcons still winAtlanta 28 - Buccaneers 13
Matt Ryan had a roller-coaster day, starting with 2 TD passes then throwing 4 INTs to finish.
Atlanta would hold on despite the turnovers, and win the game 28-13. The Falcons were once again carried by their defense. Tampa was forced to throw the ball as they were held to only 55 yards on the ground. QB Josh Freeman wasn't able to do enough for the Buccs as he finished with 1 TD and 2 INTs. The Falcons improve to 7-3 and look to take a commanding lead of the NFC South.
In other news, head coach Mike Smith has announced that Jacquizz Rodgers has been awarded the starting HB job over DeMarco Murray. Murray has been very mediocre during his tenure with Atlanta this season, showing a lack of consistency and obvious problems protecting the ball. Rodgers, who was very successful filling in for oft-injured Michael Turner last season, has made the most of his opportunities this year. The coaches will look to utilize him more moving forward.
Falcons lose Grimes for 3-4 Weeks
The Falcons, who seemed to have evaded the injury bug for most of the season, suffered their first major injury this past week.
Brent Grimes was injured during the Falcon's victory over Tampa this week by straining his pectoral muscle while recovering a fumble in the 3rd quarter. It was announced after the game by head coach Mike Smith that Grimes would probably miss 3-4 weeks with the injury.
Grimes was having a fantastic season thus far, leading the Falcons defense with 6 interceptions. Chris Owens will now have to step in and take on the role of shutdown corner for Atlanta's secondary. He will have to take on the top wide-outs now for at least a couple of weeks.
Could Ingram be on his way to Cleveland?
The General Manager of New Orleans has deep love for his hometown Hog Peyton Hillis and judging by this picture, the feeling may be mutual. Rumor has it that the trade has a very good chance of going down in the offseason.
Giants Continue to Win, Run Game Continues to Lose
28 - 31
The New York Giants traveled to Foxborough, MA to take on the New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium. New York was looking to extend their win streak, and continue winning on the road, 4-0 in road trips going into this game. Last week, the Giants lost rookie sensation Corey Mays to a broken collarbone. He will miss the remainder of the regular season. HB Ahmad Bradshaw would surely be given the heavy load. The Giants started the game going 21-0 into the half, picking off Tom Brady 3 times along the way. They started off the 2nd half with a touchdown, going up 28-0 on the Patriots. New England would not give up. Brady started to get back into rhythm and eventually tied the game at 28 with only 1 minute to play. The New York offense did not want to go to OT against the red hot Patriots, and QB Jason Campbell marched the team down the field, setting up the game winning field goal as time expired. Another New York win, but yet another Giant loss as Ahmad Bradshaw would tear his abdominal muscle, and will be out for the next 3 weeks. The NY front office has already hit the market in search of a HB to fill their needs. Rumor has it, ex-Nittany Lion Larry Johnson could be brought to the Big Apple to fill the void for the remainder of the season.
6 and Counting
Ravens get 6th win in a row to keep pace with bengals and browns. The game started out fast this weel which has been a rareity for the ravens in weeks past. Ravens had a good mix of plays that was capped off by newly aquaired rookir rb Dorial Washington 27 yd screen for his 1st career TD. The cards would run the ball and run and run some more with Adrian Foster that would hold the ball the for over 5 mins and was capped off by 4 yd fade to Fitzgerold TD. Ravens next drive would stall and be forced to punt and again the cards would hold the ball the rest of the 3rd that ended last play of the quarter with 1 yd TD run by foster. Ravens would answer in the 4th to tie the game with a 10 yd pass to Torrie Smith who is quitetly putting up a great season. The next possesion for the cards would again give the ball to foster but this time it cost them.Big hit by Zbikowski forced a fumble that would set up a TD pass to Boldin that would give ravens 7 point lead. Ravens would get the ball back but with cards have all 3 time outs ravens ran the ball and on 4th down would kick FG that would seal it.

Jets Get Big Second Half from Defense to Pull Away from Boys!
New Meadowlands- The New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys played a back and forth first half game as the Cowboys would take a 17-14 lead into intermission. However, that's when it all fell apart for the Cowboys. The turnover bug bit and bit hard as the Jets would capitalize on 4 miscues from Tony Romo and the Dallas offense to score 31 unanswered points in the third quarter to blow the game wide open. The defensive charge was lead by OLB Calvin Pace as he recovered a fumble and ran an int back for a score. With a sizable lead, The Jets resorted to just running the clock the remaining of the game to preserve the victory. The win gives The Jets a 10-0 record; best start in franchise history. Next up, a clash with the Dolpihns.
