    42 - Middle Tennessee State
    21 - Arkansas State

D.D. Kyles was able to come in the second half and be a spark plug after a tie 14 to 14 1st half.

Middle Tennessee State scored on a Dwight Dasher 5 yard pass and a 1 yard fumble return for a TD.

Arkansas State scored both TD's by Derek Lawson on a receiving and a rushing TD.

The second half D.D. Kyles went off and had a 66 yard TD run.

Middle Tennessee State was able to put the game out of reach with a long pass after Dwight audible to a quick pass after seeing a loaded box on defense. Phillip Tanner put the ball in the endzone from 5 yards out.

    VANDALIZED!!!!
    Idaho Stuns Western Michigan 41-28.

    22-6.

That wasn't the final score of the game when the Idaho Vandals traveled to Kalamasomewhere, Michigan to take on and, for the 2nd straight week, knock off the conference leaders. That was the time of possession stat.

On a cold October afternoon, the Vandal defense capitalized early and often as 3 of Western Michigan's first 4 plays of the game were interceptions, the first coming from inside linebacker Paul Sensecall, and the latter two coming from senior strong safety Terrence Thompson. But it wasn't all defense.

The Vandals received the opening kickoff and marched 78 yards in 3 minutes. Deonte Jackson popped into the endzone from a yard out for the first of his 5 touchdowns on the afternoon.

"It's great to be back, ya know? While I was hurt I got a chance to kind of reevaluate my life. I started thinking about what really matters and kind of reset my priorities in life. I've become spiritual and found my savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm a new man and I'm ready to fuck shit up now. Conference USA, you better watch out because now that Jesus is on my side I'm gonna run over every one of y'all bitchasses."

Of Western Michigan's first 4 plays, 3 of them were interceptions, and the only one that was not an interception was a 4 yard run, the only time all game that the Broncos ran the ball. And after each interception, the Vandals were able to matriculate the ball into the endzone, taking a commanding 28-0 lead while Central Michigan had run only 4 plays.

From there, the Vandals got conservative, at least for them. RB Deonte Jackson led the Idaho offense with 155 yards on 29 attempts and 5 touchdowns. Senior QB Nate Enderle was an efficient 16-25 for 260 yards, 0 TD's and 1 INT.

After jumping out to a huge first half lead, the Vandals were able to come up with enough big plays and key drives to keep the Broncos from ever seriously threatening, though they did pull to within 13 late. The game looked like it might get interesting when the Vandals were forced to punt from deep in their own territory following a Bronco 4th down TD conversion, but the Broncos were sacked on their first play of the drive and QB Carder threw three incomplete passes in a row to turn the ball back over to Idaho.

The Broncos had a glimmer of hope a few moments later when Idaho kicker Tito Farquhar left a 41 yard field goal attempt short of the cross bar. But after a quick 27-yard strike to Arnheim, Carder threw his 4th interception of the afternoon to Vandal corner Kevin Patten with just two minutes left. The game was officially over when after forcing a Vandal punt with a minute left in the game, the Bronco punt returner fumbled and the Vandal coverage team was able to pounce on the loose ball like an Irishman on a sack of potatos.

After suffering some disappointing losses early in the season, the Vandals seem to have had their confidence bolstered by the return of RB Jackson. This is the second straight week the Vandals have knocked off the conference leader. Last week it was a home victory over Utah State to the tune of 31-17. This week its the Broncos that meet their demise at the hands of the Vandals.

The Vandals rise to 5-6, while the Broncos fall to 8-3.

    Potato Magic.

I'll let the victor do his writeup but I just had a few thoughts. Maggie played a good game and I don't want to take anything away from him but I felt like I was, again, out-athleted this week. He came out and threw the ball and my defense just wasn't up to stopping him. Meanwhile, my oline got bulled over time and time again giving up 4 sacks and many hurries. We were able to win the TO battle 2:0 but it wasn't enough in the end.

On a sidenote, we had a chance to go up late in the 4th when Rainey broke a KR outside and saw nothing but daylight but my controller ran out of battery power and the KR stopped dead in his tracks. My neighbors heard about that one.

GG Maggy. I like the way you play.

If I was to line up Army's team vs Western Kentuckys team I would definitely say WKU has the athletes. Nah mean?

My RB is killer but you realize that RBs aren't the only athletes on the field right? In the trenches is where I felt the biggest talent gap.

You just like that CB :)

Anyways, why is a guy with C ratings talking to me about athletes? Go win some games or something...

You know what sucks? Losing your beat player for the season in week 2. And then losing his backup for 5 weeks. Playing half the season with a 3rd string slow ass rb sucks donkey.
