Welcome to ESPN's College Gameday, live from Tallahassee, Florida, the site of this week's Game of the Week between the Syracuse Orange and the Florida State Seminoles. I'm Chris Fowler and I'll be joined by Herbie and the Coach to discuss this week's news from around the world of college football as well as preview this week's great slate of action on the gridiron. The conference landscapes are starting to take shape and as we get late into the season the pressure mounts even more on each and every team. We start here in Tallahassee, where Gameday is this week. Let's welcome Samantha Ponder with the latest news on this week's Game of the Week between the Orange and the Seminoles. "An ACC Atlantic battle here today. These two top 25 teams will look to improve their ranking as well as solidify their conference standing. Syracuse has been on a 6 game winning streak since their only loss on the season to Northwestern. This is due to Senior QB Drew Allen playing at an elite level. He can beat you both with his arm and his legs. While trying to contain Allen, teams have also lost track of HB Jerome Smith, who will gash a team for a large run if they are too focused on the Quarterback. This tandem will have to be at their best if they hope to escape with still only one loss. Florida State has had a disappointing season and has not lived up to the pre-season hype. The question surrounding FSU this season was whether they could replace 1st round pick EJ Manuel. Unfortunately, they are just too inexperienced and Frosh QB Jameis Winston has been unable to bring it on a consistent basis. If FSU hopes to protect their turf, Winston will have to show off the talent that he has had flashes of earlier this season. Players to Watch For Syracuse: QB Drew Allen For Florida State: QB Jameis Winston Well, the headgear is here and ready to go so it's now time for our picks segment. #13 Herbie Corso #12 Herbie Corso #22 Herbie Corso Herbie Corso Herbie Corso Herbie Corso #21 Herbie Corso #6 Herbie Corso GOTW #16 #24 Herbie Coach...who ya got?
