Georgia and Auburn met for their 117th encounter in Athens today. It was another great installment of a great game played by these two old time schools. A high scoring affair that pitted two, good, offenses against each other. Auburn didn't have Frazier for this game so Clint Moseley took the helm. Auburn had a great day passing, but struggled runnin the ball. Georgia ran the ball well, but struggled in the passing game. The game would come down to turnovers. Who could play the best defense and minimize their mistakes on offense. In short, Georgia won the turnover battle and ended up winning the game because of it. Auburn turned the ball over 4 times, 3 int's/1 fumble. Georgia turned the ball over 0 times. Murray had an efficient game, not great, but game managed. The true freshman, Ross Williams, was the shining star. Having a 98 yard kickoff return, almost scoring on the play, and 90 yards rushing with 3 td's. Georgia was able to stop the Tigers from rallying late in the game and won in a close contest, 45-36. Good game to Fred Limbo

For sure, Fred's been killing it. Now someone just has to knock off Florida or Texas to give all of us 1-loss teams a chance to get into the NC

Well the game started out going back and forth in the 1st qt then it got ugly, UGA drives down and gets 3 to go up 10-7. Then Auburn is driving and Mosley throws a pick 6 and UGA goes up 17-7. Coats gets hit on the KO and fumbles and sets up another UGA fg 20-7. We throw another pick and set up another UGA score 27-7.... WE NEVER QUIT!! EVER... we get the ball and score right before half. 27-14 bot UGA adds 2 scores in the 3rd to go up by 22 leading into the 4th we did manage a safty... but its not showing on the stats.. 4th qt we score 2 then give up a huge KO down to the 2 yard line where UGA scores again, we drive and score go for 2 and dont get it down by 9 we get the onside kick but throw another pick to seal the game for UGA.. FINAL SCORE 45 - 36 UGA the box score is wrong Great game Ben

We are very proud of our team and with out the TO's we dominated the game only giving up 3 1st downs and 218 yards total Offense while we put up over 400 yards of offense and 20 1st downs but costly turnovers killed us, we missed Frazier leadership, we was only supposed to be out 3 weeks and its turned into 6 he's been questionable the last 3 weeks lol. Again no excused Ben kicked my butt, we will see ya next year in Auburn be ready!!

Good game Fred Limbo and good write up. A lot of good rivalries in the SEC and this is one of them.
