I think 14 commits in one week is a chompions record! I also had a few recruits who enjoyed a solid cpu game against Texas in the Lonestar Showdown

FYI Spayer419, if you are still trying to sell teams to new users, Texas is still a really good team. Very senior heavy this year but they usually steal a few top recruits from me each year.

Weak. I doubt we'll get back to 12. Maybe if we decide to start a new file next fall with updated rosters and stuff, we'll be able to get a great core of 12

Count me in for a reboot next fall since this is the last NCAA game for the foreseeable future I'll hang on to it until someone makes one for next gen!

I think that's where most people stand. I think the question is, next August do we make a new file with updated 2014 rosters, or do we just keep moving forward. I'm probably in favor of the former, that way we can reestablish a core for a nice, long run, but it's not something we need to decide on for some time

New Texas user here. Thanks for the invite and glad to be here. I've recruited and I have set to auto for this week since you guys are close to advancing. I'll pickup on the next advance. I use the 15 coaching point and you won't have to worry about me trying to use anymore than that as I'm not getting coaching xp lol. One question is the coordinators. I have 7 point for each can I use them? Thanks.

I believe you can use all of your coordinator points.

Welcome to the league. I'm playing as Texas A&M and I can assure you that Texas still has a very good team coming back next year.

Ok thank you and you are correct they are much, much better than I expected lol. Hopefully we can renew the Tex/Tex AM rivalry if its not already.

Welcome to the league. If you can get your week 14 game played in the next few hours, feel free to do so. If not, get ready for a fast-moving league with one hell of a community

Texas is RTA...got destroyed by ASU lol...I shouldn't have played, tried to hurry and wasn't expecting the sliders. Fell behind really early and just couldn't stop them. They kept running the auto motion bunch hb out of back field and the Heisman cpu was really jacked up for this one. I'll be ready next time around. I'm really not as bad as this looked.

These sliders can be tough. My best piece of advice would be to design some sort of system (whether its power run or spread option), design a playbook for that system and recruit for that system. You'll become more comfortable with what you do and you team's identity. Glen Cieske probably does this better than anyone, but that's been the method for success for just about everyone here

The run game is your friend with our passing sliders. Helps to get into a rhythm for passing, but sometimes you are just off. Running controls the clock and keeps the other offense off the field as well.
