Really good game between 2 evenly matched owners. It was one of those games where you knew the guy with the ball last would win, that happened sort of. Zona came out strong as TE Travis Beckum scored on a 37 yd pass. Cincy answered quick with a pass to their TE Gresham to make it 7-7. The team would exchange TD's again after a 4 yd TD pass to TE Stone for the Cards and a 5 yd TD run from Benson. With the score tied the Bengals would catch a break and pick up the first edge. Rookie SS Sergio Brown would pick off a pass and take it 48 yds to the house making it 21-14 Bengals. Cards would answer but left time for the Bengals to score late in the 1st half to keep their 7 pt lead going in.

The Bengals would start the to second half taking their time and chewing clock and kick a FG to take a 10 pt lead. Arizona would quickly answer with a 24 yd TD pass to cut it to 3. With the Bengals driving to take back their 2 score lead the Cards would get the edge back. Mike Huff was 1 on 1 with Chad 85 on a corner route and would make a great play in picking the ball and taking it back 72 yds for a TD and suddenly Cincy was down 4 to end the 3rd. Some defense would actually show up in this game for a couple series. The Bengals would go on a nice drive and on a controversial call in the back of the endzone would take the lead back on a 25 yd strike to Andre Caldwell. It appeared on 2 replays that Dre never got a second foot down but EA would not allow a review and the Bengals needed to brace themselves for the final 4 minutes. The Cards moved methodically down the field mixing run and pass and eating clock real good drive. You could see that they wanted to at worst kick a FG with no time on the clock and play for OT, but of course score a TD if they could late as well. Arizona moved down inside the 5 with just under 30 seconds to play. QB Skelton dropped back to pass and the Bengals sent a lot of heat which they did not most of the game. The result was a "flutter" pass on the QB hit and the ball fell in the endzone in the hands of Jonathon Joseph essentially ending the game. Bengals really felt they lucked out in this one but will take it. GG West.

Top Players for the Bengals in this one:
Carson Palmer 21-28-332-3tds and the 1 int
Ced Benson 15-63 and 1 TD
Palmer did a nice job spreading it around again as 8 different players caught multiple passes in thie one. GResham ended up with 2 TD's.
Sergio Brown had 6 tackles to go with his pick 6.
