    Big statement in Big D
Without Bush, Dolphins rout Cowboys 23-2
Thomas picked up the slack from a missing Reggie Bush

Dallas -- No Bush, no problem.

Rookie Daniel Thomas rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in place of the injured Reggie Bush.

Thomas opened the game by gashing the Dallas defense with a 69-yard touchdown run to put Miami up 7-0. He would add a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

Chad Henne completed 9 of his 12 passes for 186 yards. Henne spread the ball around to six different receivers in the game.

The Dallas offense could muster no momentum, scoring zero points for the day.

The Dolphin defense was phenomenal, holding Romo to under 50% completions (13 of 29), allowing just 154 yards through the air. Romo was picked off three times. Mallett was picked off once when he replaced Romo late in the fourth quarter.

Karlos Dansby had two picks for the Dolphins. Yeremiah Bell and Cameron Wake each had one. And even though Vontae Davis and Sean Smith didn't come up with a pick, they provided great coverage on Miles Austin and Dez Bryant.

Miami now heads home to welcome the Raiders in another tough matchup.

Good game Cade. GL rest of season.
