    #1 Seminoles clip Hawkeyes 31-14
It was another game that the Seminoles won thanks to great running from superstar RB Chris Thompson and timely plays from the defense. Thompson's 3 touchdowns on the day, 2 of which came in the 2nd quarter helped FSU overcome an early 7-0 deficit. Iowa wasn't helped by the fact that standout RB Marcus Coker was in and out of the game due to minor injuries.
EJ Manuel did not have the best game as he threw some horrible passes 2 of which resulted in interceptions with one directly leading to a Iowa TD. Even on Manuel's one big play to Willie Haulstead he missed TE Nick O'Leary open down the middle of the field. Thankfully with the 2nd half lead the Seminoles did not have to rely on Manuel too much.
The FSU defense was good once again this week allowing only 2 touchdowns and forcing 3 turnovers which all led to scores. DT Jacobbi McDaniel was unblockable as he amassed 4 sacks and a forced fumble. Fellow DT Everett Dawkins had 2 sacks and a forced fumble himself.
    FSU Key Players
RB Chris Thompson 27 Carries 186 Yards 3 TD
DT Jacobbi McDaniel 7 Total Tackles 4 TFL 4 Sacks 1 FF

    Kansas 30
    K-State 27

Kansas could not have looked much worse as they tried to prove they were worthy of a National Championship berth. They went through 3 QB’s and none of them looked good. They couldn’t move the ball well on the run or avoid sacks. They couldn’t stop K-State’s run game, and receivers couldn’t catch the balls even if they weren’t being hit. But Kansas was able to make a big comeback down 27-12 in the 4th quarter. After 2 scores, K-State got the ball back with 0:45 left and threw a pick to FS Keeston Terry, which set up the game winning FG as time expired.

Jordan Webb (QB)- 8-24 for for 135 yards, TD
Brock Berglund (QB)- 3-5 for 10 yards, 26 rush yards
James Sims (HB)- 9 carries for 32 yards
Dexter McDonald (WR)- 3 receptions for 86 yards
Darius Willis (MLB)- 10 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 sacks, FF
Keeston Terry (FS)- 7 tackles, 2 INT

This one was a typical Big 12 shootout, as points were at a premium, and total yardage was through the roof. Oklahoma put 28 points on the Mountaineers in the first quarter and looked to cruise to an easy win. Geno Smith and the WV offense had other plans, however. Smith didn't make it easy on OU, as he completed 26 of 39 passes for 349 yards and 4 TD with no INTs. The Sooners were able to withstand the passing barrage, and put up 61 points of their own to give them the win. HB Brennan Clay ran it 14 times for 154 yards and 2 TD, and Freshman HB Brandon Williams added 84 yards and 2 TD on 15 carries. The MVP of the game was HB/KR Roy Finch. Finch, the speedy 3rd down back, caught 3 passes for 115 yards and a TD, including a long of 89 yards. He also averaged 36 yards on 6 kick returns, and was able to take one to the house for 91 yards.
Oklahoma closes out the regular season next week against Robert Griffin III and the Baylor Bears. The Sooners hope to solidify an at-large BCS bid with a win.
