The Carolina Panthers emerged victorious from Pittsburgh's Heinz Field with a 34-7 victory over the Steelers. The Panthers defense continues to be the driving force of this team as they forced 5 Steelers turnovers and sacked quarterback Ben Roethlisberger 4 times on the day, all courtesy of Panthers All Pro defensive end Charles Johnson. The Steelers couldn't catch a break all game long, as multiple Carolina fumbles took Panthers bounces and potential receptions and interceptions alike bounced off of Steelers players' hands on multiple occasions.

With the victory the Panthers improve to 10-1 on the season. The Panthers return home in week 13 to host the NFC East leading New York Giants.

The Steelers fall to 5-6 and are now 1 game behind in the AFC North race. They Steelers will travel to Jacksonville in week 13 to take on the struggling Jaguars.
