Florida State survives a scare in Lincoln as they fight back from a 23-7 deficit and win 32-23. The Nebraska defense was relentless from the start forcing 2 turnovers by Freshman QB Michale Austin who was in for an injured EJ Manuel who will miss the next 2 weeks due to broken ribs. Austin fumbled as he was hit trying to setup a screen which was scooped up for a TD and then would pitch the ball right to the Nebraska defense on an option gone wrong leading to another 6 points. Austin however would rebound in the 2nd half as he threw 3 TD passes to lead the Noles to victory.

Michigan wins in a thriller! 35-28!

    Ann Arbor Mich,
Unranked Michigan rallied late in the game and pull out a 35-28 win in OT over the wis badgers. Wisconsin started the game with a quick drive for a t.d. and a 7-0 lead. Michigan came right back via the running game and punched it in for a 7-7 tie. Then with just over a 1 min remaining in the 1st Q, Wisconsin took the lead with a QB to TE Connection to retake the lead 14-7. then in the 2nd Q Michigan tied it up with a Forcier to Odoms hook-up for a 14-14 deadlock. then wisconsin took the lead on a 34 yrd FG, 17-14. Then Running their 2 min drill off Michigan moved it down the field, one key play was a pretty 53 yrd pass to the TE Koger who took it down to the 1yrd line, then Smith punched it in for a 21-17 lead. Then Coach Grad (trying to prevent the big play) kicked it short and it lead to a Wisconsin FG at the end of the Q. 21-20 Michigan.

Then the Memorable 2nd Half Began.
Michigan Recieved the Ball 2nd Half and did nothing with it. then Wisconsin moved the ball down and then was faced with a 4th&1 situation and was denied by the never say die Defense of the Wolverines. Then after another 3&out by the badger def. The Badger Off took the lead with a T.D. pass and a 28-21 lead after they converted the 2 pnt conv for a 7 pnt lead.

In the 4th Q. after seeing both offense's struggle against both Def. Michigan finally got a drive going and punched it in with the FB and a 28-28 tie. Then Both Teams had their Chance's to Win in Reg. Wis tried a 45 yrd FG and hooked it left with 1:30 left in the 4th. Then Michigan Tried a Couple of Hailmary's (one that Hemingway almost caught, but dropped in the end zone) to end regulation.

    Overtime Here we come.

Coach Grad surprised everyone by putting his Offense on the field first and Michigan (with a good combo of run and pass) took the lead with a T.D. run by smith (ended with 53 yrds rushing a 2 t.d.'s). and a 35-28 lead. Then Wisconsin had their chance to tie it up, but was denied by the Def of Michigan on a 4th and 7 play. Wisconsin tried to hook up with their rb who was tackled 2 yrds short of the FD marker.

Coach Grad had to say this at the end of the game. "we played a hell of a ballgame and never gave up and it showed. Now we prepare for Ohio St and that great rivarly."

Michigan is now 6-4 on the yr and 5-2 in the Conf.
Wisconsin is 6-5 and 2-5 in the conf.
