Seahawks 28 Dolphins 27 The Seahawks came out strong in this game scoring the first fourteen points of the game. The first occurred when Brandon Browner recovered a fumble and took it to the end zone for the first score of the game. Then after the Dolphins were forced to Leon Washington returned a punt back to end zone for the score. Then the Seahawks slowly lost control of the game. The offense had trouble getting going. This gave the Dolphins a chance to get back into the game scoring 13 unanswered points to make the score 14-13 at halftime. Starting the second half the Hawks scored a touchdown with a Matt Flynn to Sydney Rice TD pass. Then the Dolphins took over scoring a touchdown and converting the two point conversion. Then they added two field goals giving them a six point lead. The Hawks' chances of winning went down substantially when they were stopped on fourth down inside the Dolphins' 20 with 2 minutes remaining. Luickly the Hawks forced a three and out. Flynn led the Hawks down the field and as time expired hit Ben Obamanu in the end zone and with the extra point the Hawks won the game.
