Wyoming and San Diego St got locked into a crazy battle this week. San Diego St jumped out early as Turnovers plagued Wyoming once again in the redzone. SDSU would jump out to a 10-0 lead. Wyoming would answer on a 78yd reception from Tooley on a blown coverage. That wouldnt last as on the next drive SDSU said F U we are going to do the same and they hit a 78yd pass which made it 17-7. Wyoming would get a drive down and score from 4 yds out on a reception from Brown making it 17-14. Wyoming would get an INT then drive down and kick a 33yd fg with no time on the clock to end the half at 17 a piece. They would trade FGs in the 3rd quarter and 4th quarter things got crazy. SDSU would score from 11 yds out with 2:41 to go in the game. Wyoming would drive down the field and score on an 8yd run by Kankolongo to tie the game with 45 seconds left. On the kickoff wyoming would hit the returner hard causing a fumble and return it for a td to give them a 7 point lead with 45 seconds left. Lindley would thrown an int and Wyoming would secure the victory 34-27.

GG Bear hope i never see Lindley again

The Blazers are finally back on track after getting an underdog win against one of the top teams in Conference USA. Houston game into Birmingham with a 7-3 record and would leave disappointed to have another L. Today the defense shined for the Blazers only giving up 2 field goals in the game. They pretty much controled a good Houston offense. "It feels really good to get back in the winning track. I think the players were beginning to get a little down on themselves but this win should give them alot of confidence," Coach odu. "Today the defense was fantastic, we started the game off buy getting them off the field with 3 and outs 3 times in a row and then our linebackers and safties started dishing out bone crushing hits on their running backs and recievers going across the middle. We caused a few turnover to which was great because we havent been doing alot of that lately." "This is also a great win because we finally eclipse last years win total. Im very happy with the way this program continues to grow. Also there are alot of very exciting things going on in the recruiting end of things, We have committed 4 star athlete and ESPN Top 150 player Curtis Moss. We are very excited about that. Also we have signed 5 3 stars and we near the top of the list for a few other 4 star Top 150 guys so I'm very excited about the future here in Birmingham, Maybe in a few seasons we might be able to travel to Tusculoosa and give them boys a fight." Next week the Blazers will play against East Carolina and have a chance to become Bowl Eligable!

That was an exciting game... and it was plagued by some drops and some blown coverages. That TE of yours is a big weapon... when he decides to catch the ball that is.
