Veteran Titan RB Marion Barber has played key roles win recent Titan wins and played strong again sunday with 11 rush for 71 yards

One week after another bad defeat to the titan's arch rivals, the jaguars, the titans faced another stiff test in the Baltimore Ravens. The ravens arguably have the most talented team in the OMFL and even though the coach and team were going through a rough stretch, Coach ox and the titans knew not to take them lightly. Coach Ox stated in pregame that his defense revolved around stopped Ravens rookie TE Munchie Cosh and often double or tripled teamed the star TE but couldnt slow him down.

The Game started out poorly for the Ravens, as Coach weblinks offense took the field first, and on the 3rd play of the game, Flacco was hit as he threw and it went right to Titan DT Jason Jones and he returned the interception for the first score of the game. Flacco would shake off the interception on the next possession and on a 3rd and short, Flacco found WR Boldin wide open deep for the 70 yard score. Perfect playcall by Weblink as Boldin split the cover 2 defense that the titans were running at the time. The #1 Scoring offense took the field and it didnt take long for the titans to score one on the offensive side. After a couple 5+ yard up the gut runs by HB Barber tightened up the Ravens defense, CJ got the ball on a toss and busted a 70 yard TD run to bring the score 14-7 midway though the first. Neither team scored another TD in the quarter as the titans were obviously trying not to turn the ball over on offense with draws on 3rd and long and heavy doses of backup RB Marion Barber. Ravens would add a FG late in the quarter to bring the score at the end of the first 14-10 Titans.

The Titans opened the second quarter with the ball on a decent drive. The Titans would go up 11 early in the second with a 15 yard pass from Young to TE Cook Jr. The ravens and munchie would respond, after a 50+ yard pass to the star rookie TE, the ravens found themselves in Titans territory. Ravens RB Ray Rice was an afterthought for the titans defense and he found a big hole to get the to the goal line and he capped it off with a 2 yard TD run to bring the score 21-17 midway though the second quarter. The titans could only respond with a FG to make the score 24-17 with 2 mins left in the half. The Ravens took the field and munchie showed up big, the titans defense forgot about munchie in the slot for one play and he split the defenders and out bigged the safety trying to go for the pick for a 74 yard TD to tie the score at 24 to end the first half.

Weblink and the Ravens played very well in the first half and had a good chance to steal the upset win against the Titans but the second half told another story. The Ravens turned the ball over 4 times including 2 in the Titans redzone in the second half compared to none by the ball control titans offense and they ran away with the game. The only score in the 3rd came late in the quarter with Titans QB Young throwing a nice PA pass to FB Hall for the 4 yard score to bring the score at the end of the third quarter, 31-24 Titans.

More of the same from the Titans offense in the fourth quarter, keeping the ball on the ground and keeping the clock running. CJ scored his second TD on the day early in the 4th Q on a draw from 4 yards out to extend the lead to 14 points. The ravens responded with another huge pass to star TE munchie to set them up again the titans redzone. Flacco, under pressure, put up a bad pass that CB Newman picked off and ran back to the house for the titans second defensive TD in the game. The ravens would add a TD in garbage time but it wouldnt be enough. The titans win their 8th game on the season with a final score of 45-31.
