Idaho completed their sweep of the West, throttling UAB 55-31 late last night. Detailed writeup when I get home.

The University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks walked into Lafeyette with something to prove. They were sick of losing to their bitter rival and quater back Marc Turner and company were determined to get a win. The game started off as a defensive struggle with the Cajuns getting the only score, a field goal in the 1st quarter. The Warhawks started to get their offense rolling in the second quater as they got 3 scores and took a 21-10 lead going into half. At this point the Warhawk team was feeling good about themselfs and believed they had a chance to win for the first time in years against ULL....
However coach Snoopy gave his team a speech during half time that pumped up his team. They scored in the first 16 seconds of the half with a long 76 yard run by Lou Myers. Then on the following kick off they were able to force a fumble. This lead to a TD pass by Neal and all of the sudden the Cajuns were winning by 4. It seemed like it was going to be the same all melt down by the Warhawks. But this was not the case, they were able to take back the lead mid way through the 3rd and a score early in the fourth by the Warhawks was the only other score of the game. Coach Galt raved about his defense after the game and also noted that Marc Turner was very accurate on his passes today which allowed him to get 4 TD passes.

This win put the Warhawks at 8 wins for the season and helped improve their bid for a bowl.
