With the season slowly coming to a end Niners get a big divisional win over Seattle 3-21. Defensive battle for both teams through three quarters until a small opportunity appeared in the fourth quarter to give the Niners the edge. After a three and out defensive stop by Seattle Niners punted and Hawks Russell lead a good series of ball by driving down field on a stingy 49ers defense which later ended in a fg 3-0 Hawks end of first. Going into the second quarter with neither team having any luck Niners screen pass to Gore burst out for a 55 yard td reception 3-7 Niners Halftime.
Third quarter tight defense on both ends and no sign of letting up with turnovers everywhere 3-7 end of third quarter. Fourth things started off slow as usual no big plays from either side but a few attention grabbers plays. After catching his 2nd int of the game Pat Willis sparked the 49ers in good field position to get ahead of Seattle. Niners offense got hot behind Gore legs finally started to get his motor running scoring from 6 yards out 3-14 49ers. After charging down field with good throws Niners caught Wilson slipping slightly as Culliver got his first int of the game to which later got us to the redzone. 4th and inches 49ers decided to go for it and after a successful try 49ers went up 3-21 to help seal the big much needed divisional win.
