    Week 13 Rams at Cardinals

Gonna try to get back in the habit of writing these because for awhile I stopped because nobody else was really doing any.

The St. Louis Ram traveled to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in an NFC West showdown. Cardinals #1 WR Larry Fitzgerald had a monster game with seven receptions that went for 228 yards and three TDs. Rams star RB Steven Jackson was held to 22 yards by a defense that welcomed back LB Joey Porter and rookie DT Dan Williams from injuries. The Cardinals beat the Rams 24-3, taking their record to 9-3 on the season.

The first half was nearly deadlocked as each teams defense was playing well in the red zone, including a big time stop by the Rams on 4th and 1 at the goal line. St. Louis was able to take the lead late in the second quarter with a field goal, but the Cardinals quickly answered back with a 78 yard bomb to Fitzgerald. The Cardinals offense hit their stride in the second half, picking apart the Rams defense for two more more Fitzgerald TDs.

Arizona host the 4-7 Denver Broncos next week as they continue their fight for a playoff spot.

Injury Notes: Cardinals lost big play-maker defensive end Calais Campbell to a broken forearm in the first half and will most likely be out for the season.
