L Tech has a bye this week. They play SJSU week 14 in hopes to clinch the WAC and a trip to the Hawaii bowl. Livas and Porter will hopefully be back for the game.

GUYS.. the only guys to post a summary is the commish and the guy that didnt play a game this week...

Nevada Goes down to Boise State 17-14

JFunk knocked off Nevada with a late pick and drove the field to kick a short FG... BSU would get a pick to seal the deal with 20 seconds left... Nevada finishes 9-3.

    Great job to JFunk.

It was a great game. Nevada did a good job of ending some crucial drives in the game with big INT's. A great game that came right down to the end. Looking forward to our future match ups T2. Boise State improves to 7-4.

The BSU RB Avery had over 100 yard carries and and some good receiving out of the back field. He did enough to make Nevada respect the run and open up the pass game for Kellen Moore. Moore had a great day overall but made a couple of bad throws because of the pressure applied by Nevada's D that turned into drive ending INT's. All in all not too bad of a game all around for BSU.

Avery is a beast, in my loss to BSU he had a 72 yard td run on the 2nd play from scrimmage. He suffered a game ending injury later, if he didn't get hurt they would have whipped me good.

    Buffalo 31
    Kent St. 24

Buffalo had the 24-0 lead at the half. Besides Roosevelt getting hurt every 3rd play, or every third time he touched the ball. (LOL), we were cruising in the first half.
The 2nd half was a whole different story. Kent st put up 17 unanswered to start the 2nd half and was down only a TD (24-17) in the 4th. Buffalo managed to have one sustained drive to get back up 14 (31-17), and Kent proceeded to have a quick answer with a 4 play drive bringing the game back within 7. Buffalo was held to a 3 and out, and decided to let the D hold Kent for the win. So with 1:52 to go...Kent got the ball around their 30 yd line. Kent ended up inside the Buffalo 40 before turning the ball over on downs. And buffalo sent out the Victory Formation to end the game.

Play of the Game: Cory Jorgensen had a 78 yd TD run on an option, Kent looked kinda lost on D on that play lol. Jorgensen finishs the regular season with 14 TD and 21 INT. Buffalo finishes 6-6...and is NOT holding their breath for a bowl game. Best Buffalo could hope for was to finish 4th in the MAC East...ugh...kinda disappointing as Buffalo SHOULDA had at least 2 more wins.

Another win for Boise State this week. Kellen Moore sliced the New Mexico State defense for well over 300 yards and three TD's. Most of which came in the 1st quarter. Them Jeremy Avery took over the game in the second half to control the clock and pound the Aggies' D into submission. Actually the Aggies scored first and took a 7-0 lead. Then Boise State woke up an scored 41 unanswered points on their way to victory. Boise State finishes the season 8-4.
