As the OMFL enters the latter parts of the 2010 season, the titans again find themselves on the outside looking in on a playoff birth. The titans knew that .500 aint gonna get you nothing but a decent draft pick so they came to play this week against the 7-4 Eagles. Eagles looking strong with a great trade for hall of famer peyton manning but dropped the last couple games against good owners.

Eagles won the toss and kicked it to the titans, who were eager to get on the field and get something done. First play CJ ran ten yards right up the gut for the first down, and on the second, CJ got the toss. broke 2 tackles and ran 64 yards for the first score of the game. Texans responded a couple mins later with a run by weaver. Once again, the titans defense could not stop any 3rd down with the eagles converting form 18 yards out on one occasion.
The titans got the ball and drove after the eagles score but were stopped in the redzone and forced the FG to end the first quarter with a score of 10-7 titans.

Eagles got the ball to start the second quarter and drove well with big runs by bush and timely passes by manning. Eventually Manning found WR jackson wide open in the endzone from 13 yards out to take the lead 14-10. When the titans got the ball back, they did absolutely nothing with it and had to punt on the 3 and out. With the momentum and ball, the eagles wanted a bigger lead. On a blow coverage by the titans CBs, Jackson streaked 86 yards and scored his second TD of the quarter to make it 21-10. The titans got the ball with less than a minute left in the half and asked young to get some points before the end of the half. After a incompletion, Young found WR Washington on a crossing route, and after the perfect pass and broken tackle, ran 77 yards to score late in the half. Half time score 21-17 eagles.

The eagles got the ball first to start the second half, but couldnt get much offense together this half. Both teams traded punts for most of the quarter until the titans got into a little bit of rhythm, drove and got closer with a FG to make it 21-20 late into the 3rd.

Going into the fourth, Another poor offensive series by the eagles gave the ball back to the titans and CJ finally broke another big one from 55 yards out to get the lead back 21-26. The titans defense would continue their strong second half and forced another punt late in the 4th, the titans responded with a drive and a FG to make it an eight point game. Manning and the eagles got the ball back with 2 minutes left in the game and 2 TOs. Manning drove with ease into the titans redzone and it looked like it was going to come down to a 2 point conversion attempt for the tie but from 10 yards out, Manning was picked off as LB Bulluck stepped in the way off the eagles receiver and made a great catch. Young went back out on the field, took victory formation and celebrated with his teammates in his second game and second win of the season.
