Wow what a game vs ASU...

They are crazy aggressive both sides of the ball. All over the line on D and hurry up out of shotgun all game on O.

Very accurate QB, good rb...nice D.

Competitive overall, seemed cheap a couple plays but big deal.

New jersey dirt is back and looks cool overall.

This was the best most competitive game vs the cpu I have had in a long time and that team was 3-7 I think.

Look out when you get in against the big boys.

USC is going to kill us next week....

Oh yea final was

UCLA 20 ASU 17

They had a ton of chances to tie or take the lead we just kept coming up with stops late in the game.

had a 27-24 win over Oregon State with a field goal as the game ended.

their 80 overall QB played ridiculously. 19 for 24 for 297 and 3 TD (also 2 INT - one on a tip at the line that i intercepted with my MLB). hopefully that was just a guy getting on fire.

their HB though was a beast (and at 94 overall with 96 speed, 93 agility and 92 acceleration he should be). 22 for 115. so tough to hell how much of that was me concentrating on the run. and my secondary sucks.

Yeah I was scared playing Northwestern as their 80 Ovr QB E Watkins was 12 for 12 in the 1st quarter.........fuck me. The first drive he went through me Like Peyton playing Denver. Luckily he calmed down and we all of a sudden got some pressure.

He finished 23/30 309 yds 1 TD.

Lost my 2nd string HB - Ball again for a 1 week this time re-injuring his Collarbone.

btw anybody else notice more penalties? and the computer trying to draw you offside with a hard count?

certainly noticed a difference in passing. balls were throw to better spots, making it easier to throw different kinds of routes. i.e. you can throw out patterns and other longer throws even when a guy is on your player - because it'll throw to his outside shoulder and lead him a bit.

granted that's with Luck who has like 94 THA. dunno about a lesser QB.

Pulled one out of my arse in Happy Valley. Their quarterback Newsome was deadly the whole game but we were set to tie the game at 21 with 2 minutes left in the first half when disaster struck.

This fumble return made it 28-14 and Penn St added another touchdown to make it 35-14 at the half. After 3 it was 28-42 in favor of PSU when quarterback Kirk Cousins and the passing game started clicking. It started with 6 minutes left when Cousins hit senior Billy Cunningham to close the gap to 7.

The defense was able to make a stop and we added a field goal with 4 minutes left. After forcing another punt we methodically drove the ball down the field being able to call run plays for the first time in the second half and took the lead with 1:29 left.

Hell of a win, yeah? No, because three plays later Penn St went no huddle and caught my defense unset to regain the lead with 50 seconds remaining.

The Spartans weren't willing to give up though and using all their timeouts worked their way to the Lions 16 yard line but stalled. Faced with a 4th and 12 their prayers were answered.

Where were the slants. I saw a streak, a post and an in, but no slants, they dont work as well against MOFO as slants do. Don't really have time for slants when you're getting worked, gotta break out the big boys. You know like off tackle and such. ;)
Plus I never post videos of my cheese.

that Q4 TD by Penn State looked like the new patch at work. I hadn't seen a computer controlled guy cut across the field like that before - normally they'd just run straight for the end zone and probably get tackled.

Well Purdue locked up a BCS bowl berth with it's win over Indiana. I believe we're slated to head to the Fiesta Bowl. Gonna enjoy it while it lasts, cause the team loses a lot of talent to graduation, Heisman hopeful WR Keith Smith and top Nagurski award finalist DE Ryan Kerrigan being the most notable ones. And due to our recruiting class being shitty this season (only 2 signees thus far), next season may be a little rough.

Not like you are going to play anyone that you sign this year anyway. I cant believe that your WR is above Clay in the Heisman....Clay has 30+ TDs and 2300 yards.

that's not good lol. you should bump up a star prestige wise though so that should help out with recruiting.

out of curiosity did you guys go after a lot of stretch guys and lose out? I had to pull back on the throttle a bit to make sure i didn't cap my scholarships before the offseason guys were added. but i also targeted a handful of 4 star guys and mostly high 3 star guys.

btw what are we looking advance schedule wise? i'm not going to be around on Saturday or Sunday so it'd be awesome if we could get to bowl games before then.

and i don't think we have any conference championship games (does the Big Least have one?)

(worse case though i'm off from work next week so i can play early on Monday).

I only had like 18 guys on my board. The think that sucked about recruiting was that I was battling ND, OSU, Mich, Mich St, Illinois, and some Florida teams for recruits (mostly 3*). All my pitches are C+ except like 2 of them, so even though I unlocked most, very high, or high, the fact that I was battling teams with B+ pitches I had no shot to make any ground cause I could never accumulate enough points. Even guys I was ahead on, once one of the big boys set their sights on a player my lead would vanish in a couple weeks. I only went after players I was in the top 4 on their list too. Imma need a huge offseason to break even on my roster.
