Kinda hate my recruiting this year. The CPU likes to have one team jump out ahead with a green bar out of nowhere without an offer. I recruit anyway and when I close in, boom, offer and commit to the front runner school. Never fails. It has to be in the programming.

I've had the pink diamond bonus several times and they DO NOT work. I've wasted hours there.

That's good to know. It never worked for me last year but I got to thinking maybe it only showed the commish's diamond recruits.

I'm thinking it may only not work for the commish because others have said it worked for them.

MTSU Defense Bounces Back, Pitches Shutout in 23-0 Win Over FIU

Last week the MTSU Blue Raiders gave up 546 yards to the Akron Zips. This week the Blue Raiders stepped up in the final game of the regular season. The defense shut out the Panther offense, held them to 141 yards, and got 6 takeaways. Middle Tennessee's defense wasn't the only one impressing. FIU held the Blue Raiders to 228 yards, while they failed to convert a single 3rd down on 9 attempts. The two teams combined for just 103 passing yards. But in a game of two stagnant offenses, it was the MTSU defense that made the big plays. A fumble recovery set up MTSU's first 3 points, and 52 yard interception return gave them a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. As the FIU offense was gaining momentum before half, safety Russel picked off a pass to end the drive, and with just 17 seconds left, a long pass set up a field goal to take the 13-0 lead into half. With both teams continuing to struggle offensively in the 3rd, MTSU got the only big offensive play of the day to break the game open on Cunningham's 76 yard touchdown run to take a 20-0 lead. Player of the game award goes to senior CB Arness Ikner, whose 2 interceptions on senior night put him in the school record books for most interceptions in a season with 10. His 10 interceptions ties for the most in the nation, and is 4 ahead of anyone in the C-USA. MTSU finishes the season 7-5 and headed to a bowl game. The Blue Raiders currently hold 6th place in the C-USA, but a loss by San Jose State would bump MTSU up to 5th. According to ESPN's bowl projections, MTSU will be headed to the New Orleans Bowl to face currently 9th ranked UCF

Today is a day of redemption for you Fever. Sure, you got beat by a much inferior team. Sure, you didn't go out and win the right to represent your side of the conference. Sure, you're a little bitch. But despite these things, you will be in the conference championship game!

Because tonight, I will send @DirtyCash home, swearing and crying about what could have been. Tonight, the mighty Lobos will rise to the occasion and play spoiler. Tonight, Coach Jay Qwon will defeat his previous team. Tonight we fight for every inch. We swear our allegiance to the scarlet and silver! Lobos fight!

Actually if JQwon13 pulls off the upset then there's a 3-way tie with Nik for the Gentlemen.

    NMST 21
    EMU 38

Although the running attack was still extremely potent, EMU's defense was really the story of the game. The defense gave up 14 points which is by far their best performance of the season. EMU took an early 21-0 lead, but NMST made a quick push to come back after a quick TD and a scoop and score for six on the ensuing drive. EMU went into halftime up 28-14.

Both squads exchanged touchdowns in the 4th, and EMU would control the 4th quarter outscoring the aggies 3-0 and running away with a 38-21 victory. The win pushes EMU to 4-8, and drops NMST to 4-8 as well.

400 rushing yards on the ground was a great performance for my offense. Hammerhead is a helluva coach, but I nab some turnovers early and was able to hang on when it counted. GG HH, as I said hopefully both are squads will be going bowling next season. :)

    GG.

Un-Fuckin-Believable though, I just got dominated on the line. You hit your holes well but every play there was grass outside no matter what I did. 400 fucking rushing yards and my guys can't get me a 3rd and 1 half the time... :( I dunno what I'm gonna do with this team.

And when a super pick like this happens on your first drive by a cpu defender you know you're in for a long day...
