Spayer419 ... yes...I'm pretty upset with my latest performance. I've been trying to run a Big 10 style game like I normally do, and I'm still assimilating to the light speed style of the Big 12. Have no fear...I'm just laying the traps to bait you all so next year I go undefeated.

    Tennessee Survives
Outlasts Wildcats in 5 OT Thriller
The Vols close out 2015 in dramatic fashion after going toe-to-toe with Kentucky for four quarters and five overtimes, and eventually prevail on an 18-yard Chris Perry field goal. Tennessee jumped out to a 14 - 0 lead in the 2nd Quarter after 2 TD passes from QB Nathan Peterman who finished with 290 yards passing, 4 TDs, and a rushing TD. The Wildcats would eventually come back strong in the 2nd Half and tie the game at 21 with just under 2 minutes remaining. Kentucky would get a chance to win it in regulation as the Vols turned it over on a fumble at their own 33 yard line, but a 48-yard field goal attempt hit the right crossbar and fell just short with 2 seconds remaining in regulation. Both teams traded touchdown scores in the first two overtimes, but then things started getting more dramatic. In the 3rd overtime, both teams scored touchdowns again but also failed on the 2-pt conversion. In the 4th overtime, Kentucky QB Patrick Towles was picked off in the endzone, but Vols K Chris Perry's field goal went wide left and this stalemate was forced into a 5th overtime. Towles was again picked off in the endzone, and Tennessee was able to survive on an 18-yard field goal.
With the win Tennessee finishes the season on a 4-game winning streak, and looks to contend in the SEC in 2016.
