FSU @ UF scheduled for 5:30PM Eastern.

And if it's ANYTHING like last years contest, this should be a classic.

The Gators came out with the 12th man in full effect as the reckless fans in the confines of Ben Hill Griffith Stadium more commonly referred to as the Swamp, had an added effect this evening a torrential downpour that lasted the entire game.

"We knew it would be a game won on the ground, but we didn't want to become to predictable" Chris Fields said, FSU's 1st string running back.

The time of possession would be dominated by the Gators, but FSU would win the turnover battle. The team statistics were quite compareable but it would be turnovers that would torment the Gators as two fumbles would result in nearly two scores. The first coming after FSU used the verticle passing game to get down field on basically two plays, one 55 yard bomb to Chip Mitchell followed up by a 20yard strike to Darren Heyward on the ensuing play. The FSU team would force a 4th down with under 30 seconds left using their timeouts and UF would go for it, before fumbling after converting the 1st down. FSU recovered, returned it within FG range but were sacked on 3rd without any timeouts to kill the half 7-3 FSU.

The 3rd quarter FSU kicked a fieldgoal and the teams traded TDs, FSU ahead 17-10 to begin the 4th, where defenses would appear to have been left in the previous quarter. Florida would score on a 20 yard pass from Jermaine Martin and tie the game up and before the band could finish playing the fight song, Ryan Morgan found his tailback who beat a LB in coverage deep for a 85 yard score to retake the 7 pt lead. FSU's defense would sack Martin on the ensuing drive, force a fumble and RS LE Noah Davis would rumble all the way down the field for a 39 yard scoop and score.

Florida however down 14 were not out, they scored immediately after Martin found his slot man Ian Jefferson from 58 out and UF would collect the onside kick, sparking life into the Gators who were familiar with forcing FSU to blow 4th quarter leads in the past. FSU played conservatively the remainder of the game and would force a turnover on downs that would essentially end the game.

    Final Score 31-24 FSU

jandy latest Bowl Projections have FSU and Bama!! If this goes down are you going to be availible to play? I don't wanna play a Jandy-less Bama squad. We may be the underdogs but we're looking forward to a tilt with the Tide!!
