Rainy night in Pittsburgh as the Bengals found a way to win a big game finally. The game did come at a cost as Ced Benson went out in the 1st with a back injury and could only come back if the Bengals made the AFC title game, big loss. However Bernard Scott who has done nothing all year did pick up the slack in this one rushing for 97 yards and a TD. The Bengals got off early and had a 21-7 lead late in the half that is when the steel curtain showed up. Carson Palmer fumbled on a scramble that led to a FG and then threw a pick 6 with 30 seconds left being greedy to make it 21-17 at the half.

The Bengals could feel the big mo slipping away and to start the half Palmer answered quick finding Eddie Royal on a corner route for 70+ yards and a big TD. The rest of the game the Bengals just wanted to hold on to the ball and play tight D and they did. The running game did just enough with a mix of Brian Leonard and Scott to play ball control and Jermaine Gresham and Ochocinco both had huge 3rd down receptions moving the chains. Pitt did get the game to 35-24 and had the ball in the 3rd but finally this season the Cincy D got some stops. Gresham who should be AFC rookie of the year had 5 grabs for over 100 yards and 1 TD. The Steelers really had some tough breaks in the sloppy weather a ton of dropped easy quick passes really killed them. GG Jethro some bad breaks in this one. Time for Cincy to heal up still have tough games left with Cleveland, SD, and Baltimore this is where depth will be tested.
