Great game here, with alot riding on this one, as the Chiefs come in with a small 2 game lead over the Chargers and the Broncos

This game started good for the Chargers as they pressure Cassel and force a duck that fell into the arms of DT Knighton who returns it to the house to get and early 7-0 lead. Kansas City then answers with a Charles TD run from 19 out to tie the game at 7.

The second quarter starts by the Chargers getting a 35 yard field goal to take back the lead 10-7, but that lead would be short-lived as the Chiefs connect for a TD pass from Cassel to Berrian for 46 yards to take a 14-10 lead, followed by a 48 yard FG to put the Chiefs up, 17-10 at the half.

The second half starts with another Chief FG, this time from 38 yards out to take the biggest lead of the game at 20-10, The Chargers show signs of life with a nice drive down the field and cap it off with a 1 yard TD smash by FB Tolbert to pull within 3, 20-17 Chiefs, Chargers would get the ball back after stopping the Chiefs drive, and get a Kaeding FG from 44 yards out to tie the game going into the fourth, 20-20.

The Chiefs would draw first blood as they take the ball and score from 6 yards out by Thomas Jones, putting the Chiefs ahead by 7, 27-20 with 2:17 left to play, Chargers need to score here, and they take the ball downfield and score the game-tying TD from a 17 yard strike from Rivers to Jackson to tie the game 27-27 with only 48 seconds left on the clock, with no timeouts, the Chiefs have to pretty much let the time roll and take their chances in O.T.

The coin toss is probably the most important play in this game, as I felt whoever got the ball first had a great shot at winning this one, and luckily it was the Chargers who won the toss and chose to recieve, from the first play from scrimmage, the Chargers would start off with a run up the middle, and thats all they would need, as R.O.Y shue-in, Ryan Mathews takes it 71 yards to the end zone to end the ballgame in one play. 33-27 in a great played game by both teams in a very important AFC West division that now has a three-way clog at the top.

Great game Bluebean, gl rest of the way
