Welcome to the first annual Prospect spotlight. This will be a weekly post showcasing talent coming out of college, heading into their future lives as NFL players. I will pick one player from a different position, chosen by the people in a coinciding poll every week up until the draft. So, without further adieu, let's get this show started. QB Sam West To many, Redshirt Junior QB Sam West out of Pitt is the most complete QB that will be available in the upcoming draft. A Strong Arm (A throw power) West Coast type of QB with the above average ability to extend the play and hit his receiver in stride (B- throw on run) there is no reason to argue. He has around average size at 6'3 220 which provides him with enough to see over his wall of linemen. It's yet to be determined if he has the accuracy to be a starting QB straight out of the gate (only B- acc short) and if it wasn't for that he would for sure be a lock as the top QB. But overall, it is extremely unlikely that Sam West will be anything less than a 2nd round pick in this year's draft. Thanks for tuning in to the first of many Prospect Spotlights.. Be sure to vote on which position you'd like to see next week.. Until next time.
