Both teams come into this game each with a 6-6 record and hopes of making it to the post-season. Both teams are coming off tough division losses and are looking to rebound. Raiders do not travel well, as they post a 1-5 road record this season. The Vikings post a 3-3 record while playing in the Metrodome.

The Vikings would jump to an early lead with a 42 yard bomb to WR Massaquoi. The Raiders could only answer with a 32 yard Janokowski FG. The Vikes would find Massaquoi again, this time for a 15 yd TD. Raiders bounce back and get their first TD of the game on a 13 yard Edelman catch. Vikes with lead 14-10 at halftime.

The Raiders would come alive in the 2nd half as the defense would get things started with a Thomas Howard pick 6 that gave the Raiders their first lead of the day. The Raiders lead was short lived however, as the Vikes pounded the ball down the field and converting on a 4th and 1 to give them 1st and goal to go. Raiders would hold on 1st and 2nd down but AP busted through on 3rd down to recapture the lead for the men in Purple. With the game going back and forth the Raiders answered APs TD run with a DMC TD run to retake the lead in which the Raider wouldnt not relinquish the rest of the day. Raiders would dominate the 4th quarter with 2 DMC TD runs, 35yds and 81yds. Vikes could only get a FG and the Raiders would add a Janokowski FG late to end the scoring.
