Scarlet Knights dream season just 1 win away
    [IMG]
10 games into the season the Scarlet Knights are perfect, and coming into Chapel Hill they hoped to make it 11. Coach Alemic tried to talk down all the Heisman hype for Joe Martinek after his 416 yard performance against Louisville last week stating that a Heisman means nothing to this program, they would take the national title over 50 Heisman trophy winners. Martinek supported his coach saying the Heisman would mean nothing to him without a BCS win this year.
Once again the Scarlet Knights are headed home with the W. There is no 400 yard rushing performance in this game, nor is there a 500 yard passing game. The defense didnt force 6 turnovers and the special teams didnt return a single punt or kick-off for a touchdown. What you saw this weekend was a well balanced team in every form of the word. When they wanted to pass the ball they did so. If they wanted to run over or around you Martinek and Williams made it happen. The defense would bend but never break, and the Scarlet Knights find themselves at 11-0 and just one win away from a perfect season.
    Final Score:
    Rutgers 45 UNC 24
    Key Stats:
    Passing
    Tom Savage 8-11 157 yards 1 TD 0 INT
    Rushing
Joe Martinek 32 attempts 186 yards 3 TD
DeAntwan Williams 8 attempts 35 yards 1 TD
