This one looked like it might be a blowout at the start, but Seattle made their adjustments and it turned into quite a game. The Bears were up 21-0 at the half, but were outscored 21-10 in the 2nd half for a 31-21 final.

The Bears offense started with the ball and looked sharp, with Matt Forte carving up the defense with 3 straight runs, before Jay Cutler hit Devin Hester with the playaction across the middle for a 40 yd TD. The run game wasn't what the Bears were used to this game, with Forte only averaging around 4 yards per carry, so Cutler took advantage and had himself quite a game. He'd throw for 2 more TD's in the 2nd quarter, 14 yarders to Kellen Davis on a corner route and Roy Williams on a slant with 7 seconds left in the half to get the 21-0 halftime lead.

The Seahawks came out ready in the 2nd half though. After Tavaris Jackson was knocked out of the game, Charlie Whitehurst came in and led off the quarter with a 35 yd TD to John Carlson. The Seahawks D stepped up too, getting the ball right back, which led to Marshawn Lynch breaking off a 61 yd TD run to cut it to 21-14.

The 4th quarter started off with a Bears 31 yd FG to make it 24-14 though. The Bears would add one more TD with a 2 yd TD run by Matt Forte. Seattle tried to come back, with a 7 yd Marshawn Lynch TD run with 42 seconds left, but the Bears would recover the onside kick and that would be ball game. GG Wonderheff.
