The Chargers hosted the Minnesota Vikings in this one, the Vikings, still hoping to make the playoffs, need a W to stay very-much alive in the packed NFC playoff race, but the Chargers, who were just knocked out of contention with a KC win earlier today, plan to play the spoiler.

The game starts off with a long drive from the Vikings, pounding the ball with AP as they would all day, with success, end up going ahead with a Longwell 50 yard FG, 3-0. After the kick-off, the Chargers waste no time and on the first play from scrimmage, HB Mathews takes the ball right in between the right guard and tackle and takes it 77 yards for the score, 7-3 SD

second quarter first to score would be the Vikings with a TD run from Peterson from 3 yards out to give the Vikings the lead back 10-7. Chargers would score next, after having the ball at the Viking 1 yard line, the Vikes D stiffened, and held the Chargers to a FG, nodding it up at 10, but right before the half the Vikings would get a late-second FG to retake the lead 13-10 at the half.

San Diego would get the ball first and take it into the endzone eventually with a 15 yard strike to Gates, giving the Chargers the lead back, 17-13, a lead which they would not give back, ending the third 17-16 after the Vikings would get a 21 yard FG.

The fourth quarter would belong to the SuperChargers as they could do no wrong, forcing a few turnovers while scoring 2 touchdowns by Mathews, who ran at-will vs the Vikings defense all day and was really the glaring difference in the game, Rivers really didnt have to do too much other than convert a few 3rd down conversions, and keep the drives alive at times, ending the game winning 37-16

good game Jeremy, was a great game for a while, it just got out of hand in the 4th. GL rest of the way
