Giants Slip Past Skins 17 - 7 The New York Giants welcomed division rival Washington to MetLife Stadium to try and recover from a disappointing loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week. With a wildcard spot all but locked up, New York is looking for a good seed for an easier road. Washington did not make it easy. New York scored first on a 16 yard run by Brandon Jacobs, who ran over the Washington defense on his way in for the score. Later in the first, Sexy Rexy found his TE Cooley for a 26 yard score to lock the game at 7. In the 2nd quarter, NY would go up 10-7 before the half. In the second half, Eli Manning continued to struggle for the Giants, throwing for a total of 5 interceptions. After his 5th, he was pulled aside by the head ball coach and told he was done for the remainder. Sage the Rage Rosenfels went in to mop it up and lead NY to a scoring drive as HB Ahmad Bradshaw scooted in from 2 yards out, putting the game out of reach for the Skins. Next week, New York faces their across town rivals in the New York Jets on Christmas Eve.
