This game at the beginning looked like it was going to be back and forth all game and the first defense to stop the other team would win this matchup and in the end it kind of was. Kansas City recived and took the first drive using a good run game with some short passes to put the first td on the board with a Thomas Jones 12 yard run. Green Bay would no be down for long tho as they put a drive together of their own using a very efficient passing game as the running game was going nowhere all day. This is where defense took over as Green Bay got their first interception off of Matt Cassel of the day setting up a Mason Crosby field goal. THat led to a halftime score of 10-7. Second half was a different story as Green Bay set up another drive after half to go up 17-7. Kansas City down by ten tried to throw to get back into the game but once again Matt Cassel was picked off leading to a Ryan Grant td run. Green Bay added two more field goals in the 4th to go up 30-7 and also Kansas City removed Cassel from the game for Ricky Stanzi in a coaches decision as Cassel threw 5 ints on the day. Stanzi tried to lead a td drive at the end just to get some respect but Charles Woodson stepped in front of a throw for the defense 6th pick of the day. Final 30-7 Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers completed 80% of his passes for only 198 yards as they were dealing with a short field most the time and ryan Grant had a tough day with only 58 yards on 22 carries also Jernichael Finley led in recieving getting 6 catches for 52 yards. Thomas Jones had a ok day with 75 yards on 15 carries and 1 td and Tony Moeaki had 5 catches for 61 yards. Both teams move to 10-4 on the year and Green Bay clinches the north with another win or a Detroit loss.
