The Lions traveled to Glendale, Arizona to face the Cardinals where they were absolutely dominated. The Cardinals held to the Lions to just 132 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were able to sack Matthew Stafford 6 times over the course of the game and held Megatron to just 3 catches for 45 yards. The Cardinals were just as effective on offense putting up 365 total yards and doubling the Lions the time of possession. QB Kevin Kolb had a breakout performance throwing for 191 yards and 4 TD's. Larry Fitzgerald returned to Probowl form with 114 yards receiving and 2 TD's including a 62 yard TD catch that broke open the game. The real hero on the Cardinal offense was RB Beanie Wells rushing for 157 yards and 3 total TD's. He had an impressive 37 yard TD run against what was considered to be a stout Lions Defensive unit. Free agent aquisition Donte Stallworth even got into the action with a diving 31 yard TD catch in the endzone.
