Browns started off with the ball and were forced to punt, which led to a long drive by the Niners, ending in a 1yd TD run by RB Gore. After another forced punt, QB Smith on the first play from inside their own 20, threw a pick to CB Wright, leading to a score by RB Harrison. The only scoring done in the 2nd and 3rd, thanks to solid SF defense, was a FG by K Nedney, and a 30+yd TD catch by rookie WR Greydon. The Browns were able to score midway through the 4th, but Frisco put it out of reach on a 91yd TD run by Gore, and a 35yder by rookie RB Woods. Final score 31-14, gg.
