Robison, Vikings Sack Rams in Matchup of Divisional Leaders

    Vikings: 30
    Rams: 10

Both the Vikings (10-3) and Rams (8-5) came into their Week 15 matchup on top of their respective NFC divisions, but only one team would finish the day in that same position. The Vikes would come out firing on all cylinders, and jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead behind the #1 ranked defense in the league, and two first quarter TD's from Christian Ponder to Percy Harvin (one a 5-yard strike, the other a 59-yarder). The Rams would answer with a long drive of their own, but had to settle for a FG. After another FG by the Vikings made it 17-3, CB Antoine Winfield would take a Sam Bradford out route 28 yards to paydirt. Score at the half: Vikings 27; Rams 3.

It would be a quiet second half for both teams - only a TD for the Rams (a 2-yd TD catch by FB Mike Cox) and a FG for the Vikings. The stout Viking defense would only allow the Rams to have 160 yards of total offense, and Sam Bradford will be having nightmares for weeks about LE Brian Robison, who ended the day with 5 sacks!

    Players of Game:

Rams: MLB James Laurinaitis - 7 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 PD

Vikings: LE Brian Robison - 6 tackles, 5 sacks
    QB Christian Ponder - 12 of 17, 195 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
