Minnesota continues its NFC North dominance with 27-24 win over the Packers.

This Week 15 matchup featured the OMFL's top two rushing leaders. Rookie Brandon Bouttee is leading the league in rushing but only 40-yds behind sits veteran superstar Adrian Peterson and these HBs would not disappoint.

Peterson and his Vikings struck first blood when Peterson would bob & weave through the the Packers defense for the amazing 19-yd TD run. Bouttee would not be outdone as he would find a huge hole right in the middle of the Viking defense and race 83-yds for the score on the Packers 2nd offensive play from scrimmage. Viking K Steven Hauschka would close out the 1st qtr scoring with a 19-yd FG after a great goal line stand by the Pack.

    1st qtr

Late in the 2nd qtr. the Packers would take theit first lead of the game when FB Quinn Johnson would bulldoze his way into the endzone from 2-yds out. The Vikings would answer back with less than a minute on the 2nd quarter clock as Peterson would find paydirt for his 2nd first half TD, this one from 9-yds away.

Both defenses stiffened up in the 3rd quarter as the only score was when Packers K Mason Crosby tied the game with a 45-yd FG.

    3rd Qtr.

Vikings K Steven Hauschka would answer back early in the 4th with a 53-yd FG of his own. With 2:17 remaining Packers HB L.Focus would cap off a great drive with a 1-yd TD run. This TD would give the Packers a 24-20 lead. Vikings QB Eli Manning would then lead his team on a beautiful 2:00 minute drive that ended in a 14-yd TD pass from Manning to Rice on 4th down with :02 remaining on the clock. A squib kick would end the Packers hopes.

HB Brandon Bouttee would finish the day with 191-yds on 23 attempts and Peterson would finish his day with 154 yds on 17 att and 2 TDs.
